I believe it. When most strippers look at us all they see is a stack of cash. That's true whether we are young or old, short or tall, fat or thin, black or white.
Someone did a study on this a number of years ago. Apparently it's difficult, on average, for people of all races to distinguish between people of other races. The major exceptions are people who are either raised in a community made up primarily of another race, or people who live in highly heterogeneous societies.
Just saw a DM from her, when she stopped for gas, some random dude bought her gas for her. So, apparently no need to keep tabs on individual old white guys.
I get it. I confess, I sometimes look at people from other races and think, “He looks like a version of the other guy I know of that race.”
They look like slight variations, younger / older, fatter / skinny of 8 or 9 different “models” of that “make” to me - like cars.
I’ve not heard a Shawn Kemp reference in a long time. He was fun to watch, but it seems his procreation ability is more impressive than his on court ability.
In my view, the folks we are most familiar with are the ones we can distinguish the differences in the easiest. If one spends their time with white folks, they will discern the differences in white folks easier than other races/ethnicities.
For a dancer, I’m sure it is difficult to remember the individual customers looks. They encounter many men each night, from guys who buy dances, to guys who tip them on their tip walk, or during their time on stage. It might be better for them to not try and remember more about the guys. The money is what matters - not the bloated guy with whiskey breath whose pants smelled like a mix of farts and regret.
I've followed Kemp from high school until drafted into the NBA at age 19. He threw his career away because he couldn't control urges (dick).
A superstar in school always being chased by the girls in a predominant white high school. As the school star rarely received any discipline on or off the court.
IMO The Man Child as he was referred to by the media wasn't able to handle fame and a huge salary right out of high school.
I don't think she was entirely serious. She's the classic twenty-something who thinks one longshot or another is bound to pan out with a little patience. She's trying to find a straight job she loves that also pays well. Appearance-wise, she roughly resembles the porn star Anya Ivy. She's good at meeting guys she finds hot who are under 40 and have money (that they are willing to pay her bills with, and that comes from stuff she wisely does not ask questions about). Problem is, they tend to get themselves killed, or come close to getting her killed.
Thread was about not being able to tell other races apart then morphed into young black athletes not able to hold onto money. Coincide we just fall into stereotypes? White guys piss away their money too.

Or you’ve got outright criminals like Bernie Madoff or Elizabeth Hughes.
When I first started dancing, I used to be really good with faces and even names. Now it’s tough. Which is a shame. I remember when I was newer I was better at remembering stuff like that, and customers would get a big smile on their face when I addressed them by name right when they sat down.
There are people who I get a vague feeling I don’t really like them, but maybe they stage tip or something so I sit down with them after. And then I end up remembering that I have in fact met them before and I remember why I don’t deal with him. Whoops.
All I can do with a lot of somewhat familiar faces is say, “oh hey, how have you been?” And hope something appears in the conversation that jogs my memory. Waaaaah
It’s not a white person thing though, I’m not the best at remembering Hispanics either. Black people I have an easier time remembering, but I also don’t interact with as many black customers because I don’t see them as often at clubs. Or at least not as often as white and Hispanics. (With the exception of one particular club that did have a decent amount of black customers and they were a good group that I liked). I haven’t seen as many Asian customers ever since I left Texas, so I imagine I wouldn’t be as bad with faces there either.
For me, I have no issues based on color or race. Girls don't seem to have any problem remembering me, any race.
It could be the money, or it could be the oral I give them that they brag about, but it doesn't take long for word to get around and the few girls that I do pick to hang out with seem to remember me well for a short time anyway.
I myself have ADHD and I usually ask a girl her name several times and keep on practicing using her name enough so I can remember.
Also, I am usually remember 2 sets of names or more per girl for some reason...In the club name and out of the club name.
No matter what, I am never offended if a girl doesn't remember my name, because I can hardly remember what I did yesterday and I forget names constantly. And, I am never ashamed of forgetting names. I treat them extremely well otherwise.
I remember people I danced for 15 years ago. Some might have a unique look, but in the end it was how they treated me (conversation etc.). If you relate with the person over more than money and looks, it is easy to remember. SO if she says you all look like an ATM, then it is because you and she haven't been able to find a common ground.

I'm a white guy and I'm pissing away a lot of money. I doubt race has anything to do with blowing money
