Bruce Willis done with acting

https://pagesix.com/2022/03/30/bruce-wil…

Diagnosed with aphasia. I’m a huge fan so I’m bummed. Hasn’t had a lot of great movies in recent times but back in the day I thought he was hands down the coolest dude on the planet. Brain related stuff is really sad and doesn’t usually get better but here’s to hoping he does.

Been in 13 direct to video films over the last couple years so he probably just did all he could while he could.

He did a great job with Butch in Pulp Fiction.

    Fabienne: Whose motorcycle is this?

Butch Coolidge: It’s a chopper, baby.

    Fabienne: Whose chopper is this?

    Butch Coolidge: It’s Zed’s.

    Fabienne: Who’s Zed?

Butch Coolidge: Zed’s dead, baby. Zed’s dead.

Yeah he was great in Pulp Fiction. Y’all got any Bruce Willis recs to share

My list off the top of my head

Die Hards first 3 in order I go 3,2,1 personally.
    Last Boy Scout
    Pulp Fiction
    Fifth Element
    12 Monkey
    Sixth Sense
    Unbreakable
    Sin City

And as a guy who shaves his head now he’s something of a bald hero for me. And how justify my hair loss.

Also Hudson Hawk. People think of that as a bomb but I thought it was funny as hell.

I was more into movies in the 80s and 90s not much post-2000.

I'm kinda neutral on Willis - to me he often came across as a bit cocky - the work I'm most familiar with is the 80s TV show Moonlighting and then Diehard 1.

    He always came across as having a sharp-wit and quick-on-his-feet so sad he may be having brain-issues; hopefully it's not too-severe - he's approaching 70 (currently 67) so he's had a good-run and a long-career.

I have been a fan for a very long time. He attended college nearby - at Montclair State University. I enjoyed him and Cybill Shepherd on Moonlighting back in the 1980’s.

He played the harmonica quite well -

It sounds like he’s a very good father - and that doesn’t appear to be an easy role to have with a blended family living together.

I enjoyed his acting in many films. I still think his ex wife Demi Moore is hot as fuck!

They did a Comedy Central roast of him years ago - and it was very funny!

I have never cared for Willis or Demi Moore. Posturers, stuffed shirts, bull shit.

Moonlighting is actually my favorite TV series of all time. The subtle neo-noir aire to it was magical and the show itself epitomized the 80s in many ways.

    22 films in 4 years.

    Does he need the money?

I suspect that at some point in the future we'll discover that the people around him wanted him to keep acting more than Willis wanted to keep acting.

He was generating a lot of money for people in his orbit.
