Today I ran into a dancer I hadn’t see in a while. The last time I saw her was about a year ago when we had done an OTC threesome. My old friend told me that the other girl had died of an OD about a month ago. This brought back some bad old memories. Years ago, there was a dancer I liked at Tattletale that I used to get dances from all the time. One day, I went there and learned from her friend that she had been shot and killed by her boyfriend. Then, there was a dancer I liked at Follies who died a few years ago. I don’t know any of the details. I was just told that a friend had found her dead. These are all young, generally healthy women (you have to be in fairly decent shape to dance for a living) who died suddenly. Obviously, my experience is anecdotal, but this seems to be a high mortality rate for the demographic. I guess that’s life, and death, in the fast lane.
I don't get close to many dancers because I am a nomad, but the closest dancer I had to an ATF killed herself at age 22. I DFKed this chick a lot and even hung out with her outside the club a few times socially; I don't usually get that close with a dancer. Short story was she got hooked on drugs, and it got worse and worse to the point she was going to have to serve time. She shot herself instead of going to jail. It still bothers me to this day. Maybe I will tell the full story on here some day, but I have already done my 1,000 words for the day.
I have not been in this position of learning of a dancer I knew passing-away - I'm a variety guy and that includes not sticking to particular dancers or particular clubs for me "to get/be in the know" per se - I also don't tend to get in extended convos with dancers in the club so I may miss out on certain info - but def sad when one hears of a young person passing away especially if one had interacted with them in the past.
I have heard of several (5?) --- usually drugs. I have known two personally. Really tragic. It is a function of living too fast, too much money, and not enough guidance.
Former fave died a couple months ago. She'd been out of the game for a couple years due to health problems, but man, she knew how to take things right up to the limits of still being legal on the couch. I'm surprised how her passing has taken the edge off of my clubbing this summer.
A early favorite of mine died of an OD just before Easter. She actually introduced me to the woman who became my ATF. Until about 6 months ago, she had never used hard drugs. Then she met a guy who was a user...and the rest is a sad history. Everyone who knew her was shocked.
The statuesque redhead in the multicolored minidress in the photos section could be her twin.
A small strip club’s primary bartender. She’d get guys to buy her shots during her shift, then “sober up” with coke for the drive home. One day, it apparently got to be too much.
I’ve known of a few young dancers that died, all from drugs, never been any of my favs thank god. It’s always the very young ones that you seem to hear about maybe because they think they’re invincible
I've been relatively lucky in this respect. There's one dancer I knew pretty well (as well as a customer gets to know a dancer...) who died in a car accident. Apparently, she was clear headed and sober driving home from her shift, but the guy who hit her was piss drunk.
It has occurred to me that as a regular at a regulars' club, there's a greater chance that this could happen. Usually, if a dancer stops showing up at a club, I assume that she has moved to another club or to another state. I don't ask a lot of questions. It's none of my business.
I’ve not known dancers who died. I don’t get very involved in dancer lives.
I know there are dancers who are great at masking their issues and addictions - and I will avoid a dancer who outwardly appears to be under the influence.
If I have an OTC dancer who starts to fall into a bad cycle, I will cut off interaction with her. I’m not a white knight - so I’m not going to tell her that she needs to clean up her act or it’s over.
Not any dancers, but I do know a couple of escorts I've seen who have passed...one in a motorcycle accident and the other from cancer. The one in the motorcycle accident is probably the best looking escort, stripper, or SB I've ever seen.

1. Suicide
2. Drug overdose
3. Driving home very late and drove off the Russ. Either very asleep or alcohol
Quite tragic but seems not out of the ordinary for the industry

So damn beautiful. Such a damned shame.😢

She has just turned 28, man talk about tragic. Left two kids behind to be raised by their grandparents.
Describes how my ATF was killed. On fucking Mother's Day.
