Im starting to see this in hip hop clubs. Girls will only twerk if guys throw money at them. Some groups of guys will throw dollars at a girl and she'll twerk. One had a major attitude and was complaining how she won't shake her ass for free. I've seen it at 4 different clubs so far. I hope it doesn't become a thing.

Not surprised - I'm even seeing it in some porn videos where it's just the guy and the girl in the bedroom; these seem like homemade videos
Been going to clubs for 10 years, never seen it rain. Have seen guys try to use napkins to tip girls, rip dollars in half so they can double tip and throw change on stage. Most I have seen is a guy tip 40-50 ones. One guy got bundles of 1s and throw a bundle ($25) at a girl. I think making it rain isn't really a thing as much as an idea. Possibly for some broke guy with $100 to spend desperately trying to get attention
Hahaha guilty as charged. I don't put much energy into stage unless people are tipping. They dont necessarily have to make it rain but if you are tipping nothing or just $1 or $2 what the fuck do you expect? I ain't busting my ass for free go fuck yourself.
I don't think making it rain is that uncommon. Last night I worked 3 hours at what is lately my favorite dive and had a few stage sets with idk how much but over $100. Like nothing insane like hundreds or thousands every time i go on stage but still nice.
I just know I only made like $160 in dances after cuts but made hundreds from stage...cant complain lol
I don't blame dancers for not dancing for cheapskates, but "making it rain" is a showy douchebag maneuver.
I've seen it happen (I don't go to hip hop clubs) but it's rare. Usually a racially-confused white homie. Fuck them.

Oh it’s a thing alright – I’ve seen dudes that change all their club-$$$ into $1s – I’ve seen plenty of dudes that the only way they pay for dances is by tipping-$1s (dropping a whole bunch of $1s on the floor making it look like an area-rug made of $1s) – and seen plenty of dudes that make it rain a lot of $$$ in clubs and I don’t see them get a single-dance – it’s a thing alright - I’ve mostly seen this in the black-clubs I hit but I sometimes see it w/ wiggers in some mixed-dives.
As a hardcore SCer it’s not my thing, but at the end of the day the rain-makers seem to enjoy themselves; so if they are having fun then that’s their business and their $$$ - when in Rome …

I don’t go to nightclubs but like I mentioned earlier I’m not surprised – but now that you bring it up I do recall about 2 or 3 years ago when I was hanging in South Beach during Urban Beach Week (Memorial Day Weekend) that there were girls twerking on the street to get attention and there were some girls telling them they shouldn’t be doing that unless they were getting $$$.
Fuck nightclubs. I'd rather punch out my front teeth.

The worst was this loud ghetto girl telling a guy he has to pay her to talk to her. And these girls acting offended that guys watched them and demanding money. Calling guys broke for not paying them
At 4 clubs I saw girls on the dance floor announce they'll tweak as soon as guys start paying.
A friend asked a girls name and she told him to cashapp $50 first. Then called him broke when he walked away.
Its a repulsive attitude.

The other night I saw a guy making it drizzle at the stage - he'd toss one single in the air, a few seconds later toss another single. About 10 total. The dancer didn't seem to care.
Meh, LA and Vegas is in the early stages of things starting to go back to “normal” and those clubs are in a mini boom from what I’ve gathered from other places. Starting from Salt Lake City’s boom in May 2020 and different cities following suit at different times, it’s following what is now a predictable pattern.
And just like the other areas, the mini boom will end up flattening out soon enough I’m sure. 🤷🏻♀️
Strip clubs and regular clubs are both going through minibooms. Im hoping it fizzles out soon. I prefer to call it a post pandemic cash grab

I don't know about the brothels in Nevada. But illegal prostitutes are definitely out in full force in Vegas now. A lot of out of state girls.
And people don't have much money. I hate watching people drinking in this heat pushing baby strollers. Long lines at food courts and empty restaurants. No one sitting at clubs coz of bottle prices. Its kind of surreal.
As far as I'm concerned its strip to tip, not tip to strip. Clubs where tip to strip is the predominate MO aren't for me.
