I also know a guy she works with. She brags at work about having 23K followers. The reality is she will go pose next to a plane but that's it. Same thing with nice boats. She will hop on some expensive boat at a marina and get a few quick pictures taken. She looks hot so sometimes people will let her take photos on their boat. She will go to a top club but take pictures in 6-8 different dresses and post them over time to make it look like 6 trips. He said often times the pictures she posts do not include her in them and are simply stock photos or other photos she finds. For example, simply pictures of an extravagant meal at an extravagant restaurant.

Oh, and she is broke and up to her tight little ass in debt. She poses next to a Lexus all the time, but it is a friend's. She drives a $5000 used car. She buys all the clothes online, wears them once, takes lots of pictures and either returns them or sells them online.

So yes, many of these influencer girls are completely fake. I looked her Instagram just now. Today' posts include her in 2 different swimsuits on the same boat and another one on another boat, two pictures of expensive meals at an unnamed retaurant, a picture of her in an evening dress on a balcony with the skyline in the background (which matches a picture from two weeks ago with same balcony, same clouds but different dress). She does post links to product placements, so I guess there is a little bit of money coming in, but it cannot justify the expense and effort of creating that phony online life she is showing off.

This is like a hot girl's version of an RPG persona.

I think social media has made the facade of beauty, wealth, and success profitable. When a girl is in her 20’s and has a great body - and a beautiful face - she can get into clubs and doesn’t need to pay for drinks. Now, those previous known party girls have become social media vixens.

But, I think folks enjoy seeing these social media celebs in beautiful locations - as folks can live vicariously through those images. Obviously, folks seem to enjoy watching certain celebs take a fall from grace too. It’s a vicious spotlight!
