Crushed By COVID

They never tell you what you need to know.
The one person that always pops in my head is a really cool stripper I met 4-5 years ago, and I know she's getting her ass handed to her now.
She was a school teacher in the midwest, was in a shitty marriage (no kids). Her friend convinced her to leave her husband, and join her in Vegas and become a stripper. So this 5'3" girl LOST 50 POUNDS and became a lean smoke show and went to Vegas to make stupid money. Her dream was to make enough money, buy a house in San Diego (no loan) and support herself as a teacher again. She was one of those strippers you meet that actually had her act together, I'm wondering how much COVID is going to set her back on her goal.
jackslash I'll give you her email maybe you can help out, her appearance is the type of babe you like.

She was saving money so she could purchase a home without a loan down the road. With no income during the pandemic I’m sure a huge chunk of her savings has been depleted along with more shutdowns possibly happening. Yes she very well could be the one percent. Over the years I’ve met 100s of strippers in probably 30 different states and 6 different counties and she’s probably 1 of a dozen that had a goal in life and had an actual plan to obtain it.
I am well aware there are many people out there that have lost their jobs and had NO SAVINGS to fall back on and are way worse off. Just trying to make a topic for some discussion, no need to blast me because the topic is over your head.
Dude, anyone whose income drops to zero because of a shutdown is greatly affected. I'm not sure where your response came from. Whether I completely buy her story is irrelevant to the reality that the shutdowns hurt a lot of people.
I think ‘Scrub doesn’t realize she has bills, rent, car payment, etc. she’s just saving up money for a house just like a young newly married couple would, she has an exit plan from stripping because she knows she can’t do it forever. I have no idea if she has $20,000 saved up or $200,000, this isn’t some random stripper I spoke to at 2am half drunk in Vegas. This is someone who I visited in her home state and several times in Vegas over the years although I haven’t talked to her in about a year. Now is not the time to reach out either!
It’s just a shame even people with the best made plans are getting fucked from this situation. I wake up everyday thankful as hell mrs shailynn and I weren’t affected by this (job wise). I do still worry about down the road - who knows what can happen. Your job is only secure, until it is not.
