When I lived in Pittsburgh, I worked in a town named Large. Large was the biggest lie in Pennsylvania. Large was so small that the sign on the road said, "Welcome to Large" on both sides of the sign....

The building that I worked in was originally the Large Distillery, named for Johnathan Large, the proprietor. Later on, it became the center for Westinghouse's NERVA nuclear rocket design. Later it housed a materials test center, a fuel cell development operation and an engineering center for Navy equipment.

We used to joke that it was a long downhill slide after they quit distilling whiskey....
