Considering going back to escorting. The club scene is shitty here and escorts get top dollar in nyc. I did it before but got burnt out. I was pretty damn good at it and my reviews got me into Invite only escort events....... I’m ready

    How far are you from the bigger New Jersey clubs? I have no recent personal info, but there are many reviews describing a thriving market... including several extra's clubs.

    @herbtcat I was considering going to an extras club in nj but I was apprehensive because I don’t want to go to a LAST STOP extras club. @descretscrub I will definitely be doing a lil of both The nyc is over saturated and these new dancers know nothing about value or customer service. Which does keep my ahead of the game but I’m tired of the scene

    Sometimes a change of direction is exactly what’s needed. If you’re tiring of the club scene, it probably won’t get better on its own.

    Why does it have to be one or the other? Why can't it be both? Why not use the club to meet guys who might pay you good money to go OTC? You stopped escorting before for a reason and you're just as likely to burn out again - maybe even quicker this time. lt might make sense to diversify your income streams a bit. You could escort on nights that you don't want to dance and vice versa. You might also consider whether a change of scenery might help things too.

    @Bharlem81 Why don't you take a nice winter vacation, I'd suggest a two week visit to the Caribbean, weather is great at this time of the year, (much better than NYC) shouldn't be too costly to fly from NY, and some beach time and some pampering at a nice resort along with a few nice meals, and some low pressure sightseeing is a good way to replenish your self.

    I kind of suspected NYC would be like that. Whenever I mentioned to other dancers that I full-time travel, a couple have asked me if I’m going to go over there and that’s a hell no for me, at least at the moment. I learned my lesson slightly over a year ago when I was in Austin, during the time it became a city hotspot and so many dancers was giving it attention. NYC I figured wouldn’t be as bad if it had more clubs to absorb all the girls, but from the sounds of it, it’s still making things tougher. Escorting may not be a bad thing to get into now, and then you can breathe a sigh of relief when another city switches over to the hot place to be and a bunch of them eff off.

    @nicespice there used to be a lot more clubs in nyc and, I think that is the problem. Another is that the clubs tend to usually be either or. Either stuffy Manhattan or make it rain startenders type clubs. Which I hate. I used to dance at Sin City and I loved it. @papi_chulo my mom said the same. And I’m am currently working on that but unfortunately my bills say otherwise for now. But it is definitely time to transition out. I want 2020 to be my last year.

    Do what feels right for you, including getting out entirely. For most women, sex work has an expiration date that comes either by choice or not (i.e. aging out). Obviously, it's better to leave on your own terms.

    I know a few clubs i think you would do well in but i believe you have transportation issues. Or my old mind may be misremembering . You can do some if both, change locations and start to work toward what's next. Deciding what is next, how to get there and making sure some of every day's earnings go to that may energize you.

    Maybe work the regular job so your set up down the road and then do some sugaring on the side. That’s probably how I would do it if I was girl. I would love to sugar as a guy on the side but even old ladies don’t want pay for my ass.

    I never worked in NYC, but I've read in various dancer forums that it has gone downhill since the Stripper Strike a few years ago. And I feel as though the industry, in general, is oversaturated everywhere with idiot baby strippers. I have also been considering escorting for a while. My time is divided between two metropolitan cities in which girls end up in the local papers being murdered for sex work or being trafficked, so I would want a driver who acts as my security. I have also considered extras clubs, but the current market prices are so low in my areas that I question whether it's worth it or not.

    @waffle escorting is thriving in ny and it’s a lil harder for sex trafficking to thrive. If you do you should come up North. I agree about the extra clubs not being worth it most times. Miami is a good place for that @muddy I think I’d like being a sugar baby. You know I know how to treat a man 😉

    Extras clubs in Providence are thriving. You would both do well imo and New England is the safest part of the country by far. Too fucking cold here to commit crimes.....

    From reading the comments in this discussion, it seems that escorting or sugar babying are the best next steps for you. You seem to be ready for a change, and hopefully you will enjoy the change of work. I’m not sure where they find them, but escorts can be in high demand when the big investment banks pay bonuses. If you can get in on that action, it could mean good money for working a few parties. I wish you the best. The NYC area clubs can be cut throat - and dancers either thrive or get hit hard. The NNJ clubs are less brutal, but the money isn’t nearly as lucrative as the city.

    Bharlem, your shift choice isn't helping any either. You're working the weekday day and early evening shift in an urban Bronx club. Most of the money isn't showing up at that club until midnight or later, especially late on Friday and Saturday nights. You can't really judge the whole NYC scene based upon midshift in a Bronx urban club, lol. Shit, I'll bet a good chunk of girls at that club don't even show up until midnight. But I suspect you're avoid those very busy times for a reason. If that is not your scene, then maybe you should indeed spread your wings and seek out a change of scenery.

    My club is currently closed but the last time I was there mid shift I made $600. So that’s not the issue

    Nope that’s not consistent but working nights isn’t either... Also are you here to help or be a bully I don’t need advice from a patron about what shift I should work.     @Dugan She mentioned her club which she liked and did well in, is currently closed - perhaps the other clubs she's tried recently are not as good a fit, which seems not uncommon (dancers preferring to stick to a particular club that's a good fit for them)

    @bharlem81 You might have tried it, but IME flashdancers stays busy in the day shift too. It is more personal during the day shit and becomes aggressive over the night. As they also need you in their downtown location, not sure you can schedule your days but wednesday to Friday weekdays at FD is not too slow but not packing either. I have enjoyed ladies over there who spend a few minutes over drinks instead of drop in and ask for a dance immediately. I am guessing you might like that taking some time getting acquainted, handsy and sexy

    Question? Why aren't you working at starlets? That's NYC'S premiere make it rain club and you fit the requirements to the T? AND you sometimes get to meet celebrities
