Sensing an opportunity to capitalize on America's shock over a brief glimpse of Janet Jackson's nipple during Super Bowl XXXVIII, Go Daddy combined two of America's favorite pastimes, sexual marketing and football, the following year. It was during the first quarter of Super Bowl XXXIX when we first got to lay eyes on the "Go Daddy Girl," whose cups were filled amply by Michelle. The 2005 ad and its racier online counterparts were marketing gold for Go Daddy, which became a major player in web hosting services. Michelle, meanwhile, went from being just another B-movie actress to a superstar. The attention didn't go unnoticed in the WWE, where she would eventually become Women's Champion in 2007. Injuries would force her from the ring in 2009, and after having her first of three kids in 2010, she makes only limited public appearances.

For the few fortunate enough to get there, being on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is the highlight of their career, much less getting there twice. It says a lot about Romijn's versatility, though, that, when accounting for her acting career, Sports Illustrated is almost an afterthought. To the masses, Romijn is probably best known for her turn as Mystique in the first of the X-Men movies. However, if you want to see her body in a slightly less blue tone, her 2002 appearance in the dramatic, suspenseful French thriller Femme Fatale has Romijn seduce just about everyone, including another female model in a diamond-encrusted bra, and a foil of Antonio Banderas' character in a striptease to remember. Talented and beautiful, Romijn can portray just about any character. She makes sexy look easy, and isn't afraid to do so.
This is going to be an interesting matchup between contrasting styles. I'm willing to bet the guy that watched Michelle on RAW wasn't watching Romijn in a French erotic thriller, or at least not the parts that didn't have Romijn doing something sexy. Let's see how this goes.

@pistola: Even with 64, there are omissions, and Burke is absolutely one of them. Victoria Silvstedt occurred to me the other day, too. A number of more-recent pornstars as well. We may have to have another bracket at some point, then a "super bracket" between the survivors of that one and this one.
But this is already a big enough project. We'll take some time off after we finish this one. As it is, this is tracking to take four months time. I'll think about doing another one for 2020. So many women, so little time.
@heaving: So I'm purposely not revealing the bracket or seeding because I don't want seeding to influence votes. Sometimes, just seeing someone's a 3 makes you think you should vote for them over a 14. I don't want that weighing in.
I did seed the bracket, but I randomized the matchups so they come up in no particular order, and when I post a matchup, I just list the ladies alphabetically. All I'll say is my seedings haven't been as accurate as I thought they'd be. But just like in March Madness, seeding doesn't matter when you actually start playing the game.

Romijn seems like she kind of taps into the group's mindset. Meanwhile, I must admit, I never knew what a Refund Gap was before, though again, I've made it clear I don't mind fake boobs, and I also wouldn't ask for a refund. A good bra, or a pair of arms, puts 'em back together, anyhow.
We will have a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model showdown in the second round when Romijn takes on Kate Upton.
