Let's Revitalize the VIP

With the benefit of hindsight, founder inadvertently killed the VIP when he made the changes to the system where instead of two separate forums (which could be monitored easily on two separate tabs), it was a single forum that you had to check or uncheck to see VIP, and even for VIP members posting, they had to check a special box to post to the VIP. This kind of complexity almost never works... I don't think there's much use artificially propping up a dead forum with random bumps.

Although I'd also say it's the case that the main forum is as troll-free as I've ever seen, since I got here. A very small number of malicious trolls, and we're even blessed with the fewest number of unfunny "comedy trolls" that I've seen in a long time, which is probably why the VIP isn't an issue
