It was a pretty good day on the Hollywood Beach boardwalk too, I was hanging by the Margaritaville Resort late this afternoon.

This is the time of year SoCal is jealous of Florida.

We're getting weather in the 60s at the beach. Great for walking around not bad for tourists, but not a lot of eye candy yet.

My FWB and I plan to hit the nude beach as soon as we have nice weather. Counting the days

I don't trust the 10 day forecast but yes, usually late March is when things start to get good.

While I've been to Florida during Spring Break and it was an awesome time, I enjoy the SoCal scene.

With all the rain, there is plenty of snow at all the local resorts, the beaches are comfortable, plenty of nightlife throughout, and for mongering you have COI and TJ.

Jock straps aren't expensive, and they're quite effective at keeping you from hanging out.

South Beach is for young-people, if you are over-40 you are mostly out of place.

There are a lot of nightclubs and there are guys that stand in the corners of SoBe passing out flyers for the club they work for to try to get people to go to their club - they usually hand them out to the young people and particularly the hot-chicks which makes sense - me being 49 I hardly if ever have someone hand me a club flyer which again makes sense - but as I was hanging-out in front of the Clevelander a mid-20s Latina (didn't look Cuban) curvy spinner (very slim with a curvy waist - kinda a ballerina's body but with a booty, hips, and firm Bs that looked like 2 tennis-balls - not into spinners but liked her naturally curvy-body and she was wearing a short tight powder-blue minidress showing cleavage and lots of leg) - anyway spinner comes up to me and stands close to me and looks me in the eye and tries to hand me a card - I just shook my hand no since I usually don't accept any of the advertisements they hand out since I don't hit clubs or parties in SoBe - so as I was shaking my hand no she still stands there wanting me to take the card which I thought was odd since I don't look like one that will hit a SoBe event which is usually for young people but it looks as if she had singled me out - I don't take the card and she finally kinda shakes her head and walks away - it then dawned on me that it could have been some kinda P4P thing on the card she was trying to give me (perhaps not necessarily an escort but perhaps some bodyroub thing, IDK?)- I'm not much of a P4P guy especially outside the club but in hindsight should've taken the card at least for recon purposes.

Recon missions are important, sometimes you have to take one for the team.

Screw beaches, TJ is the real paradise, year round.

A bit over five years ago I had the pleasure of staying in one of the art deco hotels In South Beach across from the park north of the Clevelander. The weather was nice and I had brought along my bicycle and really enjoyed my week there (but I also got ripped off royally by some street walker.)

and also I really enjoyed mangos club and tootsies and Haulover beach!
