Last few trips at DJV in Rancho Cordova went on a scouting mission. Tried a few hot AF dancers out on regular dances & they quoted $30 tips in top of each $20 lap dance cost for touching. One was smoking hot & was topless, so I just went with the base cost. In the 34100 dance she said it's a $100 tip to touch.
Thoughts? In time, it is my experience that all dancers can be persuaded to turn to the dark side without tips. Especially when customers aren't spending.
And I bet if you pay to touch it will be like touching a robot.

Offer her an amount that you're willing to pay. She might not want $20 but agree to pay for a certain number of songs, with touching, and if she doesn't want it then send her on her way.

Perhaps you're a newb or at least not TUSCLarly educated - and I guess the area you are in the clubs are expensive and perhaps plenty of custies with $$$ are willing and able to pay those prices.
I can see no contact for the $20 individual dances given the area - but 3-for-$100 should def be touching included - IMO even the $20 dances should include touching if you're getting multiple dances (e.g. 3, etc).
IMO you need to stand your ground and also learn to negotiate instead of just taking what a dancer says as gospel - o/w pay up or just pass.

The club the OP is talking about is Deja Vu in Rancho Cordova. The reason the girls are charging $30 tips to touch is because this club, like all the other Deja Vu California clubs, switched from independent contractor to employee status for the girls. Meaning the club takes even more of a cut from all the money they make. So they have to resort to scam ass measures like this to try to make the money they used to.
I haven't been here since the switch, but $30/dance tip to touch on top of the already $20/dance charge is flat out stupid. That's $50/dance! If I heard those kinds quotes from all the girls I'd write this place off as 'fuck no' status.
As far as the 30 minute VIP for $100, even before the status switch, the girls would ask for a tip up front. $100 is a pretty good bargain for 30 minutes, plus the club takes $40 of that. Me personally, I had no problem giving a tip since most of the thirty minute VIPs I've experienced in other clubs usually cost somewhere around $200.
As it is I've already written this place off anyway. The dancers at Gold Club Centerfolds look way hotter than Deja Vu IMO. And since they're privately owned they still use the IC model. The touching dances are $30/song which is still pricey but not like the rates you were quoted.

In San Francisco I have experienced signs which say $20 max, but then the girls tell you that $40 gets you a better dance. At least they say that upfront. Some wait until later and say of their tits, "They're expensive."
