Super Bowl Impact

Avatar for RTP
RTPCharlotte, NC

The Super Bowl will be in Atlanta in a few weeks. What will that do to the clubbing experience at Follies? Will there be more dancers? Will the lines get very long? Valet Parking fees through the roof? I gotta think with all the people involved with production of that event descending upon Atlanta beginning soon, a unique place like Follies will feel an economic lift.
Do the Griffin Girls know the super bowl is coming?

Super Bowl's and similar events are bad for strip club customers. Prices get jacked up and amateur PLs crowd out us professionals.

I know one dancer and you know her too that has booked a hotel room close by so that she can party late and not have to drive the 30+ miles home. She is not known as an extras girl but really likes to party. She anticipates making $1000+ those days.

I don't think that it is a coincidence that the VIP rooms have just been remodeled.

I know for sure that I'll stay home and not got to any of the Atlanta clubs.

Talked to one dancer on my last visit that was afraid the city would find an excuse to shut them down just prior to the Super Bowl.

"Well at least one exBulldog is gonna get a ring ;)"

Probably a consolation for his previous team losing their bowl game to an inferior adversary. :D

My home clubbing base is Minneapolis where the Super Bowl was last season. Prices at the top tier clubs got jacked up excessively the week before. All tables were reserved with a minimum of $500 just to sit and scaling up from there. According to dancers I chatted with about this, except for the night before and of the game, business was actually poor. Extra dancers were on hand, many from other cities. Because guys weren't paying the table fees, the rooms were packed with people just standing around. Several dancers told me that they made less money most pre-Super Bowl nights than they did on a normal night. There are also a lot of corporate parties and special events going on competing for late-nite entertainment time and dollars.

My former job included entertaining top clients at big events. I never attended a Super Bowl, but did attend the Masters, the World Series, an MLB All-Star game, etc. I never had a client openly tell me he wanted to go to a club, I think many did that on their own if that was their thing. I did have one client who made me sit at the Hooters in Augusta all day which I found miserable (They open for breakfast during the Masters).

Grand is right. Prices at the clubs got raised substantially in Minneapolis last year. It wasn’t fun trying to club as a local.

Sounds like TheeOSU is a little butt hurt at Zeke's performance in the playoffs.... you would think he would be used to his players flopping, he continues to bring up the UGA vs Texas game to take the light off OSU epic failure to prepare young men for their future

Well I was busy and only watched a few minutes of that game and I honestly have no idea about Zeke's performance or lack thereof so sorry to burst your bubble "again" but I'm definitely not butthurt over something I'm not even aware of.

And I already mentioned that I keep bringing it up because I'm astonished at how you survive on a steady diet of eating crow. Lol

On a smaller scale, my smaller city hosted an NFL playoff game last year and the clubs were packed with visiting fans. These guys were having a real party, making it rain on girls and handing over nice payments for next to nothing. Needless to say, many girls got fat and happy. There was also a hangover effect that included a lot of girls skipping work for a few days after.

Sadly, my OTC girls were among those who cashed in ITC and it took them some time to blow the extra cash. After about 5 days had passed, however, everything returned to normal. ;)

I went to Follies today. I talked to the manager about the Super Bowl. I asked if they ere expecting big crowds and he said yes. I asked if they were going to raise prices and he said no that they were high enough. I told him to not look for me here and he said I don't blame you. Talked to one dancer that is originally from San Francisco. She plan a trip home after the Super Bowl.

While I was there I ran into another favorite that I hadn't seen in months. A 20 yo that I would rate a 9. I had been working on her for months to do a VIP with me and today I finally succeeded. I think it was my promise to make her cum from DATY. She admitted that she came twice. NO! I am not giving out a name. :)

When the superbowl was here, the local clubs jacked up prices quite a bit, made most tables bottleservice only, etc. In short, it became the perfect time not to go to strip clubs. There's also a huge convergence of escorts from all around the country, if that's you're bag, baby.
