Your premise is flawed. I’m not paying them to like me. I don’t really care if they do or don’t.

I’m paying them to be entertaining. Now, that might be easier for them if they don’t despise me, but I’ve met a fair number of Oscar worthy actresses in clubs, so that might not be a high bar.

And a flawed premise leads (most of the time) to incorrect conclusions.

Some of them do like it.
