I don't recall seeing this bit of news, but Dennis Hof, famed Nevada brothel owner, died a few weeks ago.

Who owns his houses now, and will they stay in common ownership? Will any other big operators come in, or just close his houses. Some NV houses have already been closed, and the buildings demolished.

Problem with NV is not just high prices. That really is secondary. Its the lack of front room fraternizing, the front room makeout sessions before committing. NV laws seem to make that impossible, or at least difficult. But people say that Hof made it worse.
Prices are a secondary issue.
