There have been a lot of rumors about the action at strip clubs being with the dancers. This is not actually the case. What you do is when the bouncer shakes your hand is to rub your finger against his palm. The rest will come naturally.

A couple years ago I was trying to decide between strip clubs and escorts since I was worried that the post-2008 Ohio strip club laws, ruling out nudity and contact, might have meant the club experience was no longer fun like the old days.

Like you, I had sent my information over to what looked like high-end or high-class escorts. I suspect it is part of their screening protocol (safety?) and that she's OK with pissing off a certain % of clients. Look, I get the reasoning for the screening because we pose a bigger threat to them they they generally do to us. Or biggest worry is she's uglier/fatter/older than her pics (or steals our identity) and their biggest worry is they could wind up dead. She's going to be behind a closed door with some man she's never met and doesn't know and who's likely twice her size and three times her strength. So I get it.

With that said, I agree with others like @Subraman. It's the same reason we don't pre-pay. It's because (1) we have the money and because (2) we don't have to. Plus if not her, then there are PLENTY of escorts out there who will live-and-let-live or let her greed or desperate need of money override her risk to safety, in order to score some quick cash, without screening. And if she's willing to accept the risks, why not?

Seriously, though. It's no different than asking her out. First you need the balls. Don't pick the wrong girl, or you might poison the well (word cold spread in the DR).

Basically, what you're doing is solicitation, no way around it. So there's not really a polite way to do it. Some are down to just ask. Some will just ask you. The sensitive way to do it is to work it into conversation, but in a way that gives her an out. Rather than put her on the spot for a yes or no.

Talking with her at your table or bar side for a few minutes lets you feel her out.

I don't do escorts often and have not come across this issue - but have read of other guys in somce cases either needing a reference or the girl even doing a background check on him.

Perhaps if you show her your ID w/ the personal info blacked-out (DL #; address; etc), and maybe just showing your first name and pic, that may be safe-enough (in her not having that much personal info) and enough for her given the rest of the ID looks legit (all state symbols, text, etc) - and you just explain you're not comfortable giving out sensitive personal info to an unknown party.
