Becoming an extras club

I’m at a historically non-extras club that has become much more extras friendly in the past few years. This got me thinking, how common is it that clubs make this transition?

In my experience, I can think of a few clubs that have become much less extras friendly over the years (mostly because of LE efforts), but I can’t really think of one that has started allowing liberal extras that used to be very strict. Except this one.

I am following my usual rule. I don’t disclose specific clubs where extras take place in a public post. And I won’t identify this club in a PM unless I know you.

And If you're in North Carolina I think I know which club you talk to me about :)

When I lived in Omaha, there was one I would go to that developed like that. It basically coincided with turning the one area of the building into VIP rooms.

Is it possible this club went under "new management", that's much more open to extras?

I've seen it be a little cyclical, which leads me to believe the few times I've seen a club go from unfriendly to friendly that what's really happened is I've just missed the first part of the cycle where they were friendly to begin with.

Often, it's a market shift. If one or several of the nearby clubs become more extras friendly, then a traditionally clean club might start feeling a pinch in terms of patronage and revenue. They adjust accordingly.

It can be dependent on many aspects regarding the area, the club mgmt, etc. I think things must come together properly to allow for extras to become common enough that the club is known for them.

It definitely seems that there’s less extras overall now. Maybe it is cyclical? Hopefully it moves towards more filthy action soon!

I assume it has to do with the current state of the powers to be - if a politician or LE has an ax to grind, then they may make it difficult for the clubs - if the current powers to be put strip clubs way down on the priority list, then many clubs will push the envelope - IMO most clubs will allow as much as they are allowed to get away with - the more mileage the more business and the more $$$ being spent, IMO

It could be that the strippers have gotten to know you and feel comfortable doing that type of activity, especially knowing that you overtip for tha kind of service.

The girls know your wallet well, and figure you’re not LE.

I've seen a couple get more extras friendly, but is usually due to a management/ownership change as stated above. I do remember one, though, that was just a topless place that for years was very strict. A new place opened up down the road (where anything went) that started taking away business. Ownership at first place made a "decision" to start "looking the other way" to encourage customers to start coming back. Sad thing was about 6 months later LE shut them both down. Now one location is a pizza shop and the other is a regular bar.

To the best of my knowledge there was no change in management. And while I no longer live in NC, this is not a local club in any event. I went while traveling far from home..
