  When you look at his iafd page (iafd.com is the porn equivalent to imdb.com), it appears he has mostly quit performing.   From what I’ve read - there was a relatively small pool of reliable male talent in porn in the 80’s and 90’s. Producers were reluctant to work with performers who weren’t proven to perform reliably. It’s possible that Ron Jeremy was a very reliable performer.

  Back when I lived in Wisconsin, a feature dancer would be booked to perform at Silk Exotic Madison on a regular basis. I would hear radio advertisements whenever an event was coming up.
