After the ethnicity thread I gotta ask. When/why did fat pillow-like assessment become the mainstream ideal? Did "Baby Got Back" have that much of an influence? Don't get me wrong, I like a little somethin' somethin' to grab, but I subscribe to the "more than a handful is too much" mantra. I don't find the big bubble attractive (for the most part, some pull it off well) and find the soft pillow butts undesirable. Am I in the minority here? @Papi, No need to chime in. ;-)

    If the ass is out of proportion bigger than the tits, I'm not attracted. Meaning I only like a big pillowy ass if she's got big tits. Shape is more important to me. No matter what the size it still has to be round and like an apple or peach.

    Big ass = not in million fucking years. I rarely am attracted to non-spinnners in the clubs, although real life is different. Twerking makes me retch and the ass clap makes me lose my erection.

Obviously, one song did not cause all of this. But you ARE onto something -- this IS a case of urban tastes going mainstream, just like rap. Or, as the famous line goes: "The main difference between a black woman and a white woman is, if a black woman asks you if her ass looks fat, you say YES". As an ass man, this has all been a huge bummer. Previously, the trend was that most strippers were trying to make their ass smaller. Now, an enormous number are trying to make their ass bigger, and don't even get me started on how universally atrocious and ridiculous ass implants invariably look. I'm not sure what to think of it as a trend. Here to stay, like hip hop? Change again in 10 years? It doesn't seem as if giant asses have caught on in most fashion modeling, except for specifically urban brands, so that particular industry is sticking to their traditional model of beauty, so far.

    I find big pillow asses a turn off. I like my girls with a well proportioned body somewhere between a spinner and a pillow ass. I also hate twerking, booty popping, and booty clapping. Her talents with her poop chute do not interest me. Give me an athletic girl that can dance slowly and sensually, that turns me on.

    i love big asses. i know it when i see it. in other words, its not exactly easy to put into words. pictures are very helpful for a thread like this i remember some threads in the past in which someone would post pictures of a certain girl, and some people on here would comment that "her ass is too big for me" and to me, the particular ass they were referring to wasn't even *close* to being too big. so yeah, tastes/preferences vary A LOT

    Ass man here. The term "the bigger the better" does not apply here. To me it's about proportions. I have seen asses that are Jlo-type big but the girl is just overweight, not necessarily in a fit shape, not my type. But a big, round bubble butt PLUS a small waist will give make my dick happy.

    I think the fashion industry blowing up and being dominated by gay men fashion designers played a part in promoting a woman's ideal look as too thin and skinny, more like a 12 year old boy look. This has dominated the modern era, coupled with an emphasis on losing weight to be more healthy. And only now has the trend been reverting back to "normal", where a little bigger is a fine look for women and we also see fuller figured fashion models. If you look at old statues of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, some of them depict her as plump. Also look at the beauties of around the 1960s - Marilyn Monroe, Betty Paige, Jane Mansfield - these are fuller figured women as compared to the 80s to the turn of the century - Twiggy, Giselle are examples. Only recently have bigger models like Kate Upton become more mainstream (again). So in part I blame gay men fashion designers changing the narrative of what a beautiful woman should be shaped like. It's taking years to undo! LMAO and preach @Papi_Chulo, preach!

    To me Kim's looks bad because it just looks so fake (like everything else on her). Her thighs don't match up with the size of her ass, making it look awful.     Yeah - seems in the 1980s there started a trend that skinny was better/healthier - thus what we have today that in many SCs you have small-girls that get implants (tits and/or ass) in order to have curves. And has been mentioned b/f, there seems to be a cultural slant where black and latino men (i.e. the more masculine men :)) prefer curvier women w/ nice-sized butts

    Marilyn Monroe's weight is widely misunderstood and falsely makes fat girls feel better about themselves when they hear and actually believe that she wore a size US 16. She was a size 2-4 most of her career. There was one point where she got up to 140 lbs when she was depressed (the pics of her in the white swimsuit at the beach where she looks bigger than normal) but normally she was quite thin for today's standards, a 22 inch waist is crazy small and her waist stayed in the 22-23 range most of her career. Her weight was around 120 for most of her career. In fact when she killed herself/was murdered/OD'ed/whatever, she was 117 lbs. For 5'5" that is small. She just had wide hips, especially compared to her tiny waist, and some boobs. Hourglass shape. Her ass was a actually kind of flat for a while, just wide. Not trying to be mean, but there are plenty of actual "bigger" women acting and even some modeling these days for "bigger" girls to look up to instead of holding the false belief that Marilyn was anywhere near a size 16.     I like big butts and I cannot lie... no, seriously, I do. I'm not into the whole fake silicone asses thing, but if a girl has a naturally big round ass, then she gets two thumbs up from me. I'm a tits-AND-ass man. I like curves. Still, shape is more important. It should be round, not just big. The hottest celebs, IMHO, are all curvy: Kate Upton, Ashley Graham, Kim Kardashian, Christina Hendricks. I think Jennifer Lopez mainstreamed it more than SirMixAlot ever did. But sadly, it's probably just a phase.

    I am apparently in the minority and don’t favor a big butt. I definitely don’t have any interest in butt implants. I like fit girls with disproportionately big boobs. I prefer a tight ass. If given the choice, I always go with the thinner girl with smaller boobs to the larger girl.

    Big out of proportion asses are just a total no-go for me. Its all about the complete body shape. I agree with you Nina on the pics but I prefer a more athletic vs a fat ass. I find Polish girls to push my limit as to the hot big ass scale where I cant resist the complete package. Those Eastern euro shapely girls just kill me. Bigger aint better

    I am more of an ass guy than a tits guy, but a big fake ass is a big turnoff for me. I agree with SirLDalot's statement. I have a preference for spinners that have an ass that is perfectly proportionate to their body, resembling the shape of an apple or a peach. I don't like the Kim Kardashian look at all. Her ass is way too big and fake. The picture in the second link Nina provided (ass shot of a girl in yoga pants) is a good example of the type of ass I like. I am actually OK if it is a little bit smaller than that, too.

    Jada Stevens or Jynx Maze type "big asses" are fine to me, though I don't necessarily consider myself an Assignment Man primarily. But huge waggly asses of the next category up? Alexis Texas no thanks. There's something firm and interesting about the former two big butt girls; the latter one is a plain old turn off for me. It probably has more to do with the waist and belly as compared to and juxtaposed near the ass, than it has to do with the ass as scrutinized independently of any other body parts, for me.

    Lot of different preferences in this thread. Like someone said earlier I'm not a fan of the 'diaper ass'. Kim K and even worse, Blac Chyna. Blac Chyna's looks the worse to me, it's just overboard and ugly. That link Nina posted of the girl in yoga pants is an absolute 10 in my book. As for fake asses I love them as long as it looks like a nice bubble. For the overboard fake asses it depends on how well she makes it work.
