I used to love B cups at first, but then I had a 10 year period where I got to like the big ones...D to DD or even more. Recently in dancers, I've gone back to the B or C cups. The 2 civies I'm seeing are both big. My FWB is a D, and my soul mate is a DD. (Yes they both know about each other)
So to answer the question, I seem to set the midpoint at C, and smaller is smaller and bigger is bigger.
I love large natural breasts; they are a huge turn-on - I consider a C-cup busty, D-cup large; DDs very large; DDDs "damn how am I gonna fit that in my mouth" but still like them.
Hard to tell w/ clothes-on - take a pic w/ no-top on and just cover your areolas/nipples w/ your hands if you wish.
It depends on the woman's frame. D is big for anyone, mostly. A is small on anyone. But a truly petite girl will look stacked with C-cups, while a taller more athletic frame would be less impressive with C's. I say D and up.
This discussion is exploding. I'm going to say the nerdy girly thing and that cup size in itself isn't always indicative of how big them tittays are because cup size is variable depending on the band size. For instance, grapefruits would be a DD on a 30 inch band but only Bs on a 36 inch band and even a freaking A on a 38 incher, but an E or F (i'm not sure if DD is same as E, but it is for some bra manufacturers) on a 28 inch band (they do exist, but mostly from UK brands). Of course, when a girl has a tiny frame, grapefruits can look huge, but they're still only a large handful, well depending on your hands. Likewise, if a girl has a huge frame, the grapefruits spread out might not look like much of anything, although with bra technology, she could probably pad and squish, and shape that flesh to look quite large. I consider anything where the breasts have considerable heft, say a couple pounds each or heavier, or small pineapple or cantalope pretty big.
