I had a discussion with a dancer today. She told me she supported her family (the requisite deadbeat boyfriend plus their kid) by working one or two day shifts a week at Follies.I said that didn't seem like it would be enough money to get by. She countered with the fact that she had already done 4 VIP's. This was at 3:30 PM, 2.5 hours into her shift. If we just call that 1/3 of her shift, that's 12 VIP's in 8 hours. That's a new sausage every 40 minutes.

Add in some dances and figure net 120 per VIP and that is well over 1500 per shift less tipout.
Say she's doing a third of what you think, $500 a shift. Maybe a grand a week, mostly in cash and tax free. Add in whatever they get from the government and that's not bad.

I would say it's very reasonable for a girl to service 6 guys in a shift
I was at Follies once trying to see one of my favorites. I spotted her as she was going into VIP with a guy, so I kept an eye out. She came out, went to back room for a couple minutes, came back out on floor and headed right for some other guy, grabbed his hand and headed to VIP.
I watched this cycle repeat a total of 5 times before I decided I was done waiting on her.
I had been getting dances from some girl I'd never seen before, and she was chatting up VIP so I decided to go with her. Me and my new girl ended up standing next to busy girl and guy #6 waiting in line for VIP. She said hi and apologized for being so busy.
Next time I was in we managed to hook up. It was a slower day and she actually had time to sit and have a drink before we went to VIP. In VIP, after our fun, we sat and talked for another 30 mins or so. Low demand for VIP that day, so no one hassled us.
This girl is fine, asks a little more than the 100 starting point for the girl, which I gladly pay, especially since she's not a stickler about getting the money up front which means she knows she is going to perform well to get it.
Depends on the girl. The real question is, can you handle finding out how much "business" your stripper handles?
@flagooner cause, like everyone else, they don't want to work any more than they have to. I'm a technology whore, and if one contract makes me enough to cover a couple months of expenses, you can bet I'll take a couple weeks off before I pick up my next one.
Think of it this way. An escort my setup an incall and see 8 guys in a 10 hour shift, a stripper could do the same inside a club.
Anything is possible in a club when it comes to PLs and their wallets. I've said before, a stripper in Vegas was telling me she cleared $21,000 in 19 days (after club fees) without giving a single blowjob. I'm not sure how many of those 19 days she worked and even she was shocked at that amount.
Side note - if the Follows stripper clears $3,000 a week working 2 shifts she's probably making over $100,000 a year probably more than enough to support her modest lifestyle.

Each guy only got 2 minutes with her, though, so if you increased it to 10 minutes each, maybe only around 50 in an 8 hour shift.
When I find a gal like, I will her I see again and again, while she dances. Unfortunately, for every one line her, there are dozens more who are horrible, and those I see once and never again.
One club I visited, one of the chains back in the early late 1990's and early 2000's, there was a main stage and 6 smaller satellite stages, and each dancer did songs on the main stage, and then would rote among three of the other stages, two songs each for a total of 8 songs every two hours. When not on stage they were either giving $5 table dances, on top of a short small coffee type table, or $10 table side dances, and $20 private area dances.
It wouldn't be out of the ordinary for a dancer to make several hundred dollars in tips every time they were on stage, and when not giving private dances, rotating among all the other tables making a lot of money just doing $5 table top dances on very shortly cut songs.
I miss clubs like that, not as much contact, but a lot of very hot eye candy to set the mood before heading out to a more laid back dive bar.
The lack of mileage and extras in the club was no big deal cause we had plenty of good ole fashioned brothels where you could go in, sit in the front room and have a drink and chat up the available girls, and then when you had a chance to get comfortable pick a girl and head upstairs.
Thanks to the Internet, escorts are strictly by appt now, and not many of them take appts late enough to enjoy night shift fluffing followed by an appt. And, heaven help you, if you spend an evening building up a good set of blue balls planning on an appt later, only to have the escort cancel or no show.
