Phoenix meetup

PHX has been on my PL to-do list just not at the top; but I might pull the trigger if something was set up.

I imagine it'll be a bit cooler in Sept like 99-deg

It can easily be 110 degrees at that time of year. I wouldn't base my decision to hold a meet up on temperatures, as they are unpredictable.

Don't let the news fool ya. It may be a bit hotter than usual in Phoenix this summer, but 115+ degrees is not a real rare occurence there. It will probably be in the low 100s during September. Living in an oven 8 months out of the year is part of the reason I moved back to the midwest.

You know people NOT from AZ don't go to Phoenix unless they have to...

Why are you going to PHX over ATL or some place else?

I'm up for a Phoenix visit but September is too early. Make it mid to late fall or winter. Aso, I'm curious as to whether or not Hi Liter has improved. Last reports were not very positive.

Looking at the weather it's currently 116 degrees in Phoenix lol. But say it was 100 degrees in September, that's a huge difference.

As for the weather, yes it will still be 100+ for the high temperature but it will be just fine as long as you are not working on a roof or a highway construction crew.

Clackport, if you make a trip to Phoenix, no matter what time of year, you need to go to HiLiter during a day shift and the Bourbon Street Circus on a night shift and Christie's in Tempe on a night shift too. In my opinion. If you want a very unique experience hit up the Blue Moon Lounge too.

I'd come up to Phoenix in September for a meetup. I'm in Sierra Vista which is 3 and a half hours away, but I club in Tucson which is 1 hour 15 minutes away. Anyway, can't speak on the clubs there because haven't had anything aside from SCing to be there for. And the weather, hot! Probably be in the mid 80s to 90s then.

Seems like Septembers in Phoenix are 100/75. The clubs have AC, so this is not a concern unless you feel like hiking from HL to BSC.

I can't help but wonder where we're all going to sit if more than 4 of us hit Blue Moon at once.....

Chili Palmer is completely correct about the current state of Hi Liter. I've been there countless times in the past 1.5 years, and things are really great there. Every time I read someone here tell us about the supposed decline of the club I say " fine with me! More hot women for me if you guys stay away!

September means the 100 degree days are nearly done and hotel rates are halved. The dancers who escaped for the summer are starting to come back. It's a good time to visit, assuming HL is still going strong. I've been going to the HL at least once a week, trying to enjoy it before the liquor board, or vice, brings the hammer down. If something happens to HL, Phoenix isn't worth a trip IMO. If I was going to do a road trip, I'd consider El Paso, from the reviews I've read.

Two things about Hong Kong. It's a brothel, not really a strip club. Nothing wrong with that, but a very different experience. Second, crossing the border. Too much hassle. I've done it but I'm willing to pay twice the price to avoid that. Plus, for those needing to explain their travel, saying you are going to Phoenix to see the sites is believable. Tijuana, not so much.

mark94 - I just went to Hong Kong. If you have a passport, there are no issues crossing the border either way. Even a few years ago when I just had a driver's license it was not an issue. I think there are too many myths about crossing the border. Unless you are crossing at the busiest time of day, the wait should be no more than 10-15 minutes.

You can also say you are going to San Diego for the beaches which is also plausible for travel. Every time I've gone to TJ, I was staying in San Diego.

It will be either be the second week or third week in September, I'll know for sure next week.

Did Christie's in Phoenix shut down? I saw one for Tempe, but none in Phoenix.

Phoenix has to be the TUSCL capital of the world as far as members, maybe Atlanta is right up there with Phoenix. I think we might have a lot of TUSCLers come thru. It's sounding like Hi-Liter should be the meetup place. Maybe afternoon time? It might get too crowded at night?

Christie's in Phoenix is undergoing a major remodeling and renovation. I ought to know, as my company is one of the main contractors on site. Doubt it will be ready for your visit, as the owner has a tendency to change his mind as often as Juice pretends to go to a strip club.

September in Phoenix: high 90s and low 100s. All clubs are air conditioned, so not to worry about the weather although you may still catch a haboob. And by September all the Nursing students are back from summer break and once again dancing "just for a little while". Get em while they're young and dumb!

The last time I tried a meet up in Phienix last year I messaged a handful of guys who said they were going to show. One said he was there but never bothered to seek me out and a couple others changed their mind and went to another club instead. Finally somebody else flaked out. I doubt this Clackport guy has enough clout to pull together a meet up with tuscl members.
