I have voted on Election Day for decades, but this year I voted on the Wednesday before because of travel and commuting on Mon-Tue.
I've heard that at least 40% of votes will be cast before Election Day this year! This is somewhat disturbing, given how many late-breaking developments there have been in the last two weeks. I wonder how many people who voted early for Hillary are now feeling buyer's remorse. Note: This is not to say that I voted for Trump. My point is that most of the negative revelations, the so-called "October [and November] Surprises", have been against Hillary.
I like early viting it gave me something to do for a whole week after all gammanu told you I am an unemployed porch monkey it's been so much fun voting every day.
I definitely voted early, partly because I'll be travelling tomorrow but also because the lines to wait in 2012 were so long. Dana Perino shared a suggestion (from a democrat) that Election Day should be a national holiday, and do away with early voting. Then there would be fewer opportunities for fraud, fewer resources used, and voters would not have to worry about being late to work or coming back from lunch or lines in the evening, arranging child care, etc. I have decided that I agree that Election Day should be a national holiday and early voting should be stopped.
I don't because I'm concerned that voting other than "in person" doesn't count, unless it's a close election.
I'm read far to many horror stories of:
* military voted not being counted, unless the election is close.
* absentee votes not being counted, unless the election is close.
* provisional votes not being counted, unless the election is close.
ad nauseum.
So only 100% legit in-person voting is performed by yours truly. It's the only form I trust to have my voted counted.
P.S. voter fraud is a fairy tale from the right. If anything most of the voter fraud is perpetuated by the right and not the left. Guilty conscience, much? ;)
I voted early for the first time - - but only because I was driving by an early voting station and it looked empty I was curious, and went in to discover it was almost identical to voting on election day, just not as busy.

The DNC encourages their faithful to do both, vote early and on election day. (That's my attempt to stir the pot)

Whoever wins on Tuesday, America loses.
