I go to the SCs in MPLS occasionally and was quoted 1k for OTC recently, i said no and the offer went down to 500. Its a starting point and in MPLS (a no extras state) its what I would expect, unless you are looking for a LDK.

Papi, that's good advice. In business I usually don't want to be the first to name a price (first one to talk loses) but I can see where in the SC you want to establish that you are aware of what the going rate is. She just saw a chance for a big payday.
