Rekindling Stripper Extras

GACA
Un-retired: Met my ATF. Married her. Divorcing her.
I have been away from my favorite strip club for a while. I had gotten to the point where I never paid cover, got one or two drinks or. The house and some nice lil'extras in a no-touch no-privacy place. Now it took me more than a few month of spending to get there. I'm planning on going back after some months off, think I can expect the same treatment I left off with?

Depends on the club's management and whether or not you get recognized by the right people (if they are even still there).

In general, I'd walk in the door expecting to lose at least *some* of the benefits of being a regular (and perhaps more). I view strip clubs as having a "what have you done for me lately?" attitude for the most part.

If that turns out to not be the case, then consider yourself lucky.

If the management hasn't changed, I would expect they'd still be cool with you.

At some places a few months is forever in terms of dancer turnover, at others it's going to be the same girls, plus or minus one or two faces.

I've had plenty of dancers clearly remember me months later.

If it's just a few months, I expect you'll get the same treatment, if the same people are there. By coincidence, a couple of days ago I went to a club I'm a regular at, where no one ever charges me cover -- except there was a brand new bouncer, and he charged me cover. Afterwards, I saw the manager speaking to him, and the bouncer ran over to me to introduce myself and shake my hand. Hopefully that's my last cover charge for a while :)

It probably depends on who is still there. I've been in your shoes and seen it go either way.

There was one club I used to attend regularly, but after an extended absence (about 3 months), the bar staff and most of the dancers turned over and all the "cred" (read: ease of getting OTC) and considerations (read: great service with well poured drinks) were gone.

Conversely, there was another travel club, in a town that I visited no more than 4 to 5 weeks per year, in which I seemed to retain known regular status for a long time. The key was that the staff turnover was really low. My drink was waiting for me by the time that I reached the bar and enough girls knew me that my good time was assured. Man do I miss that club. ;)

Anyway, let us know how it goes!
