Athletes and Celebrities should stay out of the strip clubs

If I was their agent or advisor I would tell these athletes and celebrities to stay out of the strip clubs. Nothing really good comes out of that, it's gonna end up on the Internet. If you spend a lot of money/aka make it rain in there you will get criticized for spending too much money. If you don't spend a lot of money you will get labeled a cheapskate by the strippers in there, because you have a lot of money, but you're not spending enough to their liking.

Case in point Scottie Pippen. When Scottie played for the Portland Trailblazers, he would frequent quite a few of the strip clubs around here. He gained a reputation for not spending a lot of money in the strip clubs, and he got the nickname "no tipping Pippen". That nickname has followed him wherever he goes to this day. He even allegedly got kicked out of a club here for not tipping.

I've always wondered with the celebrities that go to the strip clubs often, like how are they in there. Someone like rapper Drake frequents strip clubs a lot and mentions it all the time in his raps. I don't see him as a make it rain type bringing attention to himself. He seems more of a sitting in a corner kind of guy and actually talking to these ladies. His goal is to take the hottest stripper home. The lead girl in his music video "Find Your Love" is actually a girl he met in the strip club. 10 days later he flew her out to Jamaica to do the video.

What's the most you've heard a athlete/celebrity spend in the strip club?
Rick Ross said he spent 1 million dollars at KOD in Miami on his birthday a few years back. A few of the strippers that were there that night didn't believe it.
A few years back Cam Newton allegedly spent 100K on a strip club visit. I'm all for the entertainers spending their money how they want, but that's fucking insane. He allegedly got paid 180K to play at Auburn, so hopefully the 100K he spent was part of that money :)

At the end of the day it's bad press for the athletes/celebrities regarding the strip clubs. When we think Pacman Jones we think strip clubs. The reason the Dallas Cowboys put a curfew on Dez Bryant is he was at the strip clubs late at night all the time. The Cowboys banned him from strip clubs.

If I was their agent or advisor I would tell them strip clubs is not a good idea. A big reason a lot of these athletes are broke after they're done playing is their strip club habits.

From what I hear from many of the dancers in Atlanta, most of the athletes/celebrities are not huge tippers. At Club Blaze in Atlanta Waka Flocka go there quite often. The dancers tell me that Waka mostly just shoot pool in the upper level and run up the table to hustle more money from some of the customers and rarely pays attention to the dancers like that. T.I. and Tiny hit up a lot of the clubs in Atlanta but they hardly ever make it rain; instead, the dancers tell me that me just hang out in VIP drinking and enjoying the view from afar.

I personally don't know but the dancers have told me that Fabolous made it rain $30,000 in DOA and Jeezy spent over $15,000 in Strokers one year. I know Floyd Mayweather also made it rain I believe over $30,000 in DOA and even burned a $100 there which I didn't like at all.

The amount of money some of these guys spend in the clubs is a bit asinine to say the least.

This is why Big Boi has a pole in his house.

Plies said he had $200K in singles at one SC party Thanksgiving weekend. Didn't know Instagram videos were so profitable.

@IHearVoices-exactly. Instead of going to the strip club, they need to bring the strip club to them.

They warned you about throwing kfc chacken bones on the stage. Don't say you weren't warned.

And they shouldn't be driving after heading out to party. They'd plenty of dough for a car service.

I don't see anything wrong w/ it – they are young and they have $$$ and just want to have a good time.

I only have a bit of an issue w/ them not spending anything – I'm not saying they gotta spend $10k+; but not spending shit is kinda ridiculous for someone in their position – it's kinda like going to a fine restaurant and not ordering any food or just a cheap salad b/c they don't want to spend any $$$.

I have heard the same complaint from dancers about celebrities and athletes. I once sat through one of my favorite dancers ranting on how this table full of celebrities were tipping multiple $100 bills to the waitresses, and spending a lot of money on drinks and, but not one bought a single dance or tipped any of the dancers when they were on stage, yet got very touchy feely with the dancers that the club made entertain the celebrities.
