Why do the idiots always confess? It was months ago. They couldn't prove anything if he hadn't admitted it.
Free legal advice: never, ever, under any circumstances admit anything to a cop that could possibly be any sort of a crime. Even if they arrest you with the drugs in your hand, don't say a fucking thing and wait for your lawyer. Even if the cop was following you while you were driving in triple digits, don't come up with some lame excuse in which you admit to driving so fast. Just shut the fuck up, let the cop do his thing, and then take it to a good lawyer. Speaking will never help, and it often hurts a lot.
