    Blush, then Cheerleaders.

Blush is always crowded, small and a little "dive-ish" but higher mileage and in the middle of downtown. Cheerleaders is near the strip district, just a short cab drive away from downtown (less than 5 minutes) larger and more upscale. Cheerleaders has better quality girls.

Across the river is Club Erotica which is a dump but used to have smoking hot girls with no mileage. I haven't been there for 10 years.

There's a club on Carson street (where a lot of bars are) and a new one that just popped up down the street from station square but I can't comment on those - never been...

If you're staying downtown you're set - but if you're staying by the airport it's at least a 20 minute drive with no traffic into downtown - they are doing construction on I376 so it could be a nightmare going through there right now.

I'm gonna be staying near station square, but will be having a car. So driving around won't be an issue.

Pittsburgh is a very confusing city to drive in, only cities that top it in North America are: Montreal and Detroit.

    define "Pittsburgh."

Pittsburgh proper (i.e. Downtown) you choices are:
    1. Blush - non smoking, good mileage, high dance prices ($30 per of 3-for-78), public parking deck across the street. Often has features, check their website.
    2. Cheerleaders (strip district) - smoking, good mileage, $25 per, mandatory valet
    3. Penthouse (north shore) - non smoking, $20 per I think, YMMV (I didn't think it was as good as Blush or Cheerleaders, but I also didn't try very hard to push the envelope), on street parking if you don't want to use the valet. Very dead every time I've been there.

McKees Rocks (don't bee surprised to see gangs on the street here):
Club Erotica - IMO, some grind but you can't touch her, wide open main LD area, inside of the club is ok
Silky's - turned very Ghetto, sketchy parking / valet setup, mileage was good in the old days, but can't comment since things changed

Better options available if you are willing to drive 45min-1hr out

I will admit that there are some "convoluted" things about driving in Pittsburgh, but you're are not talking NYC, Boston, or LA traffic.

Mjx01 and shailynn have more experience with the Pittsburgh clubs than me as I'm only there once or twice a year. I would agree some of the outlier clubs can have some good talent and extras could be on the table with the right girl. But at worst good two way contact dances. I would read reviews for the downtown and McKees Rocks clubs mentioned, you might also look at reviews for the filly corral and beemers. Run the addresses for all of them through Google maps and see what you think might work best for you on terms of your drive. There is a new nude club about an hour out that we had a discussion post about but there are no reviews yet.

mjx01 - I wasn't talking about traffic - I actually don't think the traffic is that bad for a big city. It's just the roads - so many bridges, screwed routes, etc.

With being an out of towner, I have no clue how someone can make it around Detroit, Montreal and Pittsburgh without a gps.

I haven't been in Montreal or Pittsburgh in decades, but I know the Detroit area and I don't see why it would be confusing. And if you want to find strip clubs, you just drive along Michigan Avenue or 8 Mile Road.

    4. Cricket - small neighborhood type club, off the beaten path, smoking allowed, didn't partake in any LDs as talent was not appealing
    5. Forgot about Beemers. Probably not as far out or difficult to get to from downtown compared to Filly Corral. Smoking is allowed so I haven't been here in a long time. IMO, good stage show, reviews suggest fun can be had.
    6. Controversy (South shore) - possibly the closest to station square. Never been since reviews were not appealing.
7 Filly Corral - my CF club. Right off of 70 in the Smithton area. Will not be trivial to get to from downtown.
8 I've heard good things about the clubs near Mountaineer Casino (in WV). Never been so can't confirm.
7 & 8 are why I asked what is your definition of Pittsburgh.

My impression of the greater Pittsburgh area (and this is probably true in a lot of areas) is that the menu gets better when you are a known quantity to a dancer and club (that you're not LE). If I were the OP, I would not have high expectations to receive special treatment as an out of towner.

I seen some good reviews about Silky's, there 2 for one happy hour on Tue-Thu sounds appealing too. Is it a safe area to drive to though?

Philly Corral would be my choice but as mentioned previously it is a good drive south of downtown and not an easy drive from Station Square especially if you don't know Pittsburg that well. Used to like Silky's down on the Ohio River but the neighbor is just too sketchy at night for me. Blush and Cheerleaders are your best bets in downtown area but even the Strip can get a little iffy later into the evening but never had a problem myself.

I didn't mention Cricket because the talent there is usually lacking. It is not that far from downtown. Probably closest drive for me of any clubs relative to where I stay but I drive farther for better talent and mileage when I'm there.
I am a fan of the Filly Corral as well. I had a good experience at Silky's but that was a few years ago and the area is not the best.

Pittsburgh is the only major city I have lived in where you could see a place that you wanted to drive to and asked for directions from a native.

You'd get something like, "Drive down this here street til you get to the corner where Isaly's Ice cream parlor used to be. Turn right up the hill and don't take the first left - those potholes can eat that little pickup your driving. Take the right at the Jynt Iggle and drive ten miles.....and you'll get there, but they closed an hour ago."

Thing is, even though you can see the place, that probably was the shortest route to get there.

Getting to Filly Corral from Station Square isn't difficult driving - it's only seven or eight turns including getting out of Station Square and into the truck stop where FC is located. It's probably about 25 miles/45 minutes away.

    1. Left onto Carson Street.
    2. Right at the Liberty Tunnel
    3. Through the tunnel and left onto Saw Mill
    Run Blvd (Route 51 S)
    4. Continue on 51, past where the Chi Chi's
restaurant used to be in Pleasant Hills (not
really a turning point, but I couldn't resist)
until you get to the I-70 interchange. Cross
over the overpass and turn onto I-70 E to
New Stanton. Important note: do not be
sucked into taking the first exit to
Washington - they mean Washington PA,
Little Washington in the local parlance.
    5. Continue to the Smithton exit and get off
there (pun intended). Cross I-70 and turn
into the truck stop. The Filly Corral should be
located right in front of you in the Brass Rail
    restaurant. Easy peasy!

Returning will be a bit trickier - the exit back onto Route 51N is very tricky and easy to miss. Start slowing down when you see the first sign and know that you will get to the exit about 20 feet before the sign pointing you into it.

Is McKees Rocks safe to drive through: yes. Is it save to get out of your car, is a different matter.

Detroit is crazy to drive through. It's all logically laid out, but I will be at a restaurant on one side of the interstate and I can literally see my hotel on the other side. I have to take 4 roads and go on 2 overpasses just to get there. Never would be able to do it without a gps. It's like someone over thought everything there or they had a huge discount on concrete, building 3 roads for every 1 they needed.

Lastly - OP - just go to blush, if you don't like it go down the road to cheerleaders. Enough said.

All these other options are either in sketchy areas or too far of a drive. From your hotel to filly coral you'd have almost an hour each way in travel time. You really wanna do that? Blush is a 5-10 minute cab drive from your hotel.

Shailynn has a point - sometimes we can over think a simple question. Try the close ones then move farther out if you don't like what you see initially.

Seriously, I agree. My post, while accurate, really was to poke fun at driving in the 'Burgh, where some really long drives can be accomplished with very few turns and some ostensibly close destinations can require a lot of turns, driving down roads that change names twice in a single block and risk driving off a cliff.

We used to joke that to drive from our home in the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh to visit our daughter at the U of South Carolina in Columbia literally required only nine turns!

I live in the city of Pittsburgh and work in the city of Pittsburgh. My parents live in Saginaw, MI and my uncle lives in Knoxville, Tennessee.

I drive on 9 different roads to get to work. They only need 6 from Saginaw to Knoxville. And, by the way, Pittsburgh's Penthouse was replaced with a Spearmint Rhino. Quality up, mileage down.
