How did you become a TUSCLer ?

Papi_Chulo
Miami, FL (or the nearest big-booty club)

I had been a regular SCer for ~12 years b/f I became a TUSCLer in Jan 2012.

I'd never been a guy to spend a lot of time surfing the web (and besides TUSCL really don't look at any other sites regularly now) so actually did not come across TUSCL till about sometime in 2011.

I had moved back home to Miami from Dallas where I lived from 2000 - ~2010 (although I grew up in Miami). I had lost my well-paying but stressful and time-consuming job in Dallas and thus my move back to Miami.

Didn't work for most of 2010 and thus no $$$ for SCing – started working in early 2011 earning less $$$ in a different career/job-type but much less stress and shorter hours - thus more time on my hands.

I was planning a 5 day leisure trip back to Dallas in early 2012 and wanted to hit Houston since I'd never SCed there – thus I was looking for Houston SC info and came across TUSCL.

I had ran across TUSCL b/f 2012 but didn't pay too much attention to it – I noticed one could not read the reviews and that one had to pay VIP in order to read reviews and most of us are not used to paying for info on the internet thus I sorta dismissed TUSCL - for w/e reason I was not aware of getting free VIP for writing a review or maybe just didn't feel like writing one since I was not as hard a SCer back then and didn't anticipate using TUSCL much if at all – but the fact that I was planning to visit Houston and didn't know anything about it persuaded me to join TUSCL.

I was not too eager to be a part of the discussion board b/c I thought it'd be a whole bunch of sicko scumbags; but I needed Houston club info so I created an account and my first thread was w.r.t. Houston club info.

I quickly grew to like the discussion board since it was not what I anticipated the guys on their being like and I really liked strip clubs so it was cool finding folks whom liked and appreciated SCs as much, or more, than I did at the time.

Shortly after joining TUSCL I went ahead and purchased the lifetime VIP which I believe was $79 at the time (Jan 2012) – at the time I wasn't anticipating on writing any reviews but wanted to have access to reviews at some time in the future in case I had other SC trips in mind (I did not travel for work so was not necessarily in need of constant club info for new cities).

So this was pretty much my PL TUSCL journey – what was yours:

+ how long were you a regular SCer b/f becoming a TUSCLer

+ do you recall what made you become a TUSCLer?

+ did you have any preconceived ideas w.r.t the website?

+ any other comments

Found TUSCL while searching the internet for strip clubs back in the early 90's. Did my first anonymous review on the Memphis Platinum Plus around 1995. Prior to that I was pretty much just an occasional strip club goer.

I kind of did the same thing. I didn't post much to begin with. I came here for info, first and foremost. But still read the discussions.

Even though I don't club as much as I used to, I still find it interesting to keep up on what is going on in the SC world. Plus, if I'm ever out of town, it's a great reference as to which clubs to hit and which ones to avoid if I only have one or two days that I might be able to club.

Visited local strip clubs on and off for decades. Sometimes in SF too.

Interested in strip clubs other places, as that is a way of calibrating other cities, seeing what they have, what they are like. Found TUSCL with google and saw that its index gave me exactly what I wanted, for making some big plans.

Only joined the forum about 1 1/2 years ago though. Post marriage I am planning to embark on some big non-sex tourism plans. Though non-sex tourism, visiting strip clubs in each new place is how I will make some female friends. You might call them GFE Ports.

I joined TUSCL because SCL was going downhill. The site seemed to no longer be getting updated and reviews taking shots at DV/Hustler franchise clubs could be deleted by management. I recall seeing TUSCL in web searches, but because I could not read the reviews without VIP, I did not join for 2-3 years. TUSCL was alot better than I thought because at the time I joined, I was under the impression SCL was the best strip club directory on the net.

Sometime in the late 90s, after I moved to Louisville, I was searching for Louisville strip clubs, and TUSCL was the first one on the list, and it turned out to have the most useful information.

I didn't become a member until 2009, and then I started participating in the discussions as well.

I think I stumbled on the site when I decided to take my first trip to Niagara Falls Ontario to hit seductions and sundowner in their heyday. I actually also found terb.ca which is more helpful for Canadian clubs but have used this site for my travels ever since.

It wasn't until a little over 2 or 3 years ago that I became active on the discussion board. I didn't even know there was a discussion board all those years but it helped me immensely when I started going to Detroit.

Sometimes I post a lot on here, and really this is the only board that I actively follow. I'm on some boards related to my cars, but I only go there when I need help with an issue, no pleasure talk. I post on here, and read a few news apps on my phone throughout the day. Those things really help me get through my day - always good to get a laugh out in the day, or most importantly... I am reminded that there actually are a lot of people out there more retarded than me.

I knew of TUSCL for a long time before I joined. I made an account when I was notified that an entire discussion had been started about me. When I saw people actively discussing me, I decided to join in on the action.

I turned 21, and I knew there were a lot of strip clubs in my city. I wanted to know which ones were good, so I did a Google search on strip clubs and TUSCL came up. I haven't looked back since.

Where you are there are so many strip clubs that you need to use TUSCL.

Most of us are not that fortunate, as the number of strip clubs is small.

Ha my best friend and I used to love when that song came out (she strips top so she knows me as Nina).

I hate most of today's hip hop but I LOVE 90s era hip hop and Dr. Dre makes a Nina reference as well. "If I got my Nina then you know I'm straight trippin". I honestly didn't know it was a pseudonym for a 9mm handgun when I chose the name.

In the late 90s, I bought a book of Internet websites. Imagine that nowadays. TUSCL was the only site listed under strip clubs. I used the site off and on over the years and even had a paid membership many moons ago under a long forgotten screen name. Finally, about 6 years ago, I decided it was finally time to join and give back to a place that I have taken so much from over the years.

IIRC, I learned about TUSCL from SW. As most everyone knows, SW provides a different perspective on the hobby so I came over here for a sense of balance. I was SCing for maybe 3.5 years before getting into sites. The NO strip club site was first since I was planning a NO trip for WrestleMania. It's the one thing my friend who was going with me and I have in common re: nightlife (I'm really more at home in dance clubs, but that's not his thing). I then learned about Peter Tips and then SW and then TUSCL. I've recently started reading USASG...for whoever thinks TUSCL is hardcore, those guys really get after it.

Didn't have any preconceived notions about TUSCL, other than it coming more from the customer POV (which it obviously does, in comparison to SW).

I have used tuscl since I was just out of college and making road trips for my job. Wanted to be able to hit clubs in the town's I was going to. I just wanted to know where clubs were that were close to my hotel as many times I would not have transportation. Only clubbed occasionally for many years as I was married. Usually just going for bachelor parties, etc.
Then after getting divorced I was mainly dating civis. Had a two year relationship with a crazy woman and decided I was tired of the civilian route. Decided why pay to date civilians and have gf headaches when I can go to a Strip club, see what I want, touch what I want with no hassle. Went back to tuscl for updated info on clubs in the Phoenix area and started to read some of the discussion posts and decided to join in and the rest is history. My enjoyment of strip clubs and meeting strippers OTC has changed my whole perspective of the hobby.

I had just discovered clubbing thru some co-workers, and I knew that there was way more out there then where they had brought me. I was intending to research local boards, and I did.....but at the time their forums were unnecessarily complicated and often not very active. TUSCL was fun because I could get a glimpse of other clubs (and clubbers) from around the country, so I decided to stick around.

In the 90's I moved to South Carolina and visited a few clubs. I wondered what other clubs were around and did an Internet search. The discussion board was completely anonymous at the time and nothing but a big flame board between supposedly some dancers and some other people. I believe to tame it down and to stop people from falsely posting as other screen names, membership became required to post on the discussion. I officially joined somewhere around then, actually before. I didn't notice the discussion flame comments until later. I changed multiple screen names since then. Discussions were once deleted every two weeks so no idea when I first joined. the 90's sometime. maybe it was 1997.

I wasn't a hardcore strip club goer before I joined TUSCL. I was more of a semi-regular in the sense that I would go maybe once every month or two. I learned of TUSCL in late 2013 when I was curious about the overall ATL strip club scene. I joined in February 2014 while I was dealing with a major leg injury sustained at my job. I wasn't able to walk on my own for six months. I was in a relationship and she left me for some other guy while I was recovering. I was very angry and decided that I would never be in a relationship again. So, as soon as I was able to walk on my own again is when I started hitting up clubs on a regular basis.

I wasn't very active on the site for about the first eight months. Up until then I mostly used it to gather up intel and read the reviews of clubs from the Atlanta area. I rarely looked at the discussion board and it wasn't until December of last year when I really began to participate.

I found an old thread. Some of my suggestions have been implemented at more than one web site.
I probably joined in the late 90's and membership likely became a requirement for discussions around 2001/2002.

I heard that there was a guy who had figured out how to pay hookers for sex (after a mere 10 years) and had formalized it into a "System". Seemed impossible so I had to check out this site. I sure wasn't disappointed!

I was one of those kind members who volunteered to support hotstuff69babi at the Silver Criket when she returned to dancing. Great girl . . . her conversational and lap dance skills are excellent, as are her store-bought boobies (or so I've been told -- I met her two years ago, pre-augmentation). Gentlemen, look for Lindsay at the Criket, at least on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (as I recall).

The story of my involvement with TUSCL is much like Sinclair's. I had been strip clubbing ever more regularly since the 90s, first monthly and eventually weekly (or more) but my major source of "information" for several years was SCL. I resisted using TUSCL because I didn't want to pay for access to reviews, but I finally got VIP membership six years ago and have never looked back. Because I visit so many different clubs in my travels, I have never felt the need to buy a lifetime VIP membership. I think I've written enough reviews that I'm covered until sometime in 2017.

that was really sweet of you welcoming Nina to TUSCL but you do realize that she has been here and posting here longer than you have? in normal human interactions the newbie doesn’t welcome people already there. now you didn’t happen to also send her one of your psycho PMs did you?

have you always been this awkward in social interactions? hey i’m just yanking your chain. of course you have. i mean you couldn’t even hang onto your mail order bride.

btw how’s your plan to be the de facto TUSCL moderator coming? have posters begun to stop pointing out what an idiot you are?

I used to travel a lot for work. I was a strip club visitor in most cities that I visited, but it was always hit or miss in terms of the experience. About 10 years ago I was told of TUSCL by a co worker. I was not very active on the internet then (still not much outside of TUSCL), but was very impressed by the information offered on this site. It was, and continues to be very helpful. Shortly after joining TUSCL I met the infamous "Shadowcat" at his then favorite club, PP in Columbia. He was very helpful in terms of dancer info. Since we both live in the Atlanta area, I now see him at the, also infamous, Follies. Since he goes much more often than I do, he remains a great source of information.
Prior to TUSCL I would periodically pick up a newspaper in adult bookstores. I think it was called "Climax Times" and it would have very limited, but useful information on clubs and massage parlors in various cities. Does anybody else remember this publication? I assume the internet made it obsolete. It was, however, a useful tool for finding clubs that offered more than just air dances.

    I joined in 2012.

Started visiting strip clubs in 2010. Had lots of hits and misses. Great clubs. Shitty clubs. Divas to ROBs.

After a string of crappy experiences wondered if there was a better way. Landed at a few strip club review sites. Found TUSCL to be best organized and reviews matching reality.

But at first had a real tough time understanding you TUSCL fellas and your TLA's and code words.

Heck didn't even know what OTC meant ! https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=1…

I wanted to find the best strip clubs in the country, and the Internet led me to TUSCL. Then TUSCL told me the best strip clubs are right by me in Detroit. What the hell did I need this site for?

I stuck around for the discussions, which are a virtual Algonquin Roundtable of wit and sophistication.

I joined this site, like every noob looking to get intel, stayed around because the Dougster & RBD rivalry had me lmao, and I don't know anyone IRL who loves strippers and strip clubs as much as I do.

I found tuscl by doing a Google search for strip club reviews. For a few years I just used it for eviews. I did reviews for a while under a different user name which I have now totally forgotten.

I left for a while and then came back as John Smith. I monitored the discussions for a year or so. Then one day I realized that I knew enough about strip clubbing to contribute so I started being a participant.

About 18 months ago I was scanning the web an did a search on a couple of the local clubs. I hadn't been in a SC in years and had the itch to go hang out and mingle with some girls that get paid to get/be naked around me. I started out reading some USA Sex Guide stuff and also TwoSheds because it was free. After getting into the groove of going to the local places some and reading some of the TS stuff about the Detroit scene I read some of the partial reviews I could read on here without being a member. I noticed that some of what seemed to be the more veteran/knowledgeable TS folks also commented on TUSCl so I decided to subscribe and I am damn glad I did. This site is great in every aspect from intel to humor to web personalities of the frequent posters.

I started out reading Shadowcat's and Shiekitout's reviews of Platinum Plus in Columbia. Not many reviews back then. Although Columbia is less than 3 hours away, I had never been there and the reviews were far superior to any clubs I had been to before so I signed up. On one of my day trips to Columbia, I saw this guy who was sitting in a far corner area, wearing shorts and a crazy tshirt. He was also wearing the carpet out going back and forth to one of the VIP rooms. I went over and asked him if he was Shadowcat (it was of course), I introduced myself and we have become friends. I've been here ever since, although not as prolific on the discussion boards as some of my TUSCL brothers. I have also met a few TUSCLers, which is always interesting for the most part...to see others' takes and styles at a strip club. All I can say is thank goodness for TUSCL and the active members who make it the best site around for our little adventures.
