How did you become a TUSCLer ?
Papi_Chulo
Miami, FL (or the nearest big-booty club)
I had been a regular SCer for ~12 years b/f I became a TUSCLer in Jan 2012.
I'd never been a guy to spend a lot of time surfing the web (and besides TUSCL really don't look at any other sites regularly now) so actually did not come across TUSCL till about sometime in 2011.
I had moved back home to Miami from Dallas where I lived from 2000 - ~2010 (although I grew up in Miami). I had lost my well-paying but stressful and time-consuming job in Dallas and thus my move back to Miami.
Didn't work for most of 2010 and thus no $$$ for SCing – started working in early 2011 earning less $$$ in a different career/job-type but much less stress and shorter hours - thus more time on my hands.
I was planning a 5 day leisure trip back to Dallas in early 2012 and wanted to hit Houston since I'd never SCed there – thus I was looking for Houston SC info and came across TUSCL.
I had ran across TUSCL b/f 2012 but didn't pay too much attention to it – I noticed one could not read the reviews and that one had to pay VIP in order to read reviews and most of us are not used to paying for info on the internet thus I sorta dismissed TUSCL - for w/e reason I was not aware of getting free VIP for writing a review or maybe just didn't feel like writing one since I was not as hard a SCer back then and didn't anticipate using TUSCL much if at all – but the fact that I was planning to visit Houston and didn't know anything about it persuaded me to join TUSCL.
I was not too eager to be a part of the discussion board b/c I thought it'd be a whole bunch of sicko scumbags; but I needed Houston club info so I created an account and my first thread was w.r.t. Houston club info.
I quickly grew to like the discussion board since it was not what I anticipated the guys on their being like and I really liked strip clubs so it was cool finding folks whom liked and appreciated SCs as much, or more, than I did at the time.
Shortly after joining TUSCL I went ahead and purchased the lifetime VIP which I believe was $79 at the time (Jan 2012) – at the time I wasn't anticipating on writing any reviews but wanted to have access to reviews at some time in the future in case I had other SC trips in mind (I did not travel for work so was not necessarily in need of constant club info for new cities).
So this was pretty much my PL TUSCL journey – what was yours:
+ how long were you a regular SCer b/f becoming a TUSCLer
+ do you recall what made you become a TUSCLer?
+ did you have any preconceived ideas w.r.t the website?
+ any other comments

I kind of did the same thing. I didn't post much to begin with. I came here for info, first and foremost. But still read the discussions.
Even though I don't club as much as I used to, I still find it interesting to keep up on what is going on in the SC world. Plus, if I'm ever out of town, it's a great reference as to which clubs to hit and which ones to avoid if I only have one or two days that I might be able to club.
Interested in strip clubs other places, as that is a way of calibrating other cities, seeing what they have, what they are like. Found TUSCL with google and saw that its index gave me exactly what I wanted, for making some big plans.
Only joined the forum about 1 1/2 years ago though. Post marriage I am planning to embark on some big non-sex tourism plans. Though non-sex tourism, visiting strip clubs in each new place is how I will make some female friends. You might call them GFE Ports.

I didn't become a member until 2009, and then I started participating in the discussions as well.
It wasn't until a little over 2 or 3 years ago that I became active on the discussion board. I didn't even know there was a discussion board all those years but it helped me immensely when I started going to Detroit.
Sometimes I post a lot on here, and really this is the only board that I actively follow. I'm on some boards related to my cars, but I only go there when I need help with an issue, no pleasure talk. I post on here, and read a few news apps on my phone throughout the day. Those things really help me get through my day - always good to get a laugh out in the day, or most importantly... I am reminded that there actually are a lot of people out there more retarded than me.

Most of us are not that fortunate, as the number of strip clubs is small.

I hate most of today's hip hop but I LOVE 90s era hip hop and Dr. Dre makes a Nina reference as well. "If I got my Nina then you know I'm straight trippin". I honestly didn't know it was a pseudonym for a 9mm handgun when I chose the name.
Didn't have any preconceived notions about TUSCL, other than it coming more from the customer POV (which it obviously does, in comparison to SW).
Then after getting divorced I was mainly dating civis. Had a two year relationship with a crazy woman and decided I was tired of the civilian route. Decided why pay to date civilians and have gf headaches when I can go to a Strip club, see what I want, touch what I want with no hassle. Went back to tuscl for updated info on clubs in the Phoenix area and started to read some of the discussion posts and decided to join in and the rest is history. My enjoyment of strip clubs and meeting strippers OTC has changed my whole perspective of the hobby.
I wasn't very active on the site for about the first eight months. Up until then I mostly used it to gather up intel and read the reviews of clubs from the Atlanta area. I rarely looked at the discussion board and it wasn't until December of last year when I really began to participate.
I probably joined in the late 90's and membership likely became a requirement for discussions around 2001/2002.

that was really sweet of you welcoming Nina to TUSCL but you do realize that she has been here and posting here longer than you have? in normal human interactions the newbie doesn’t welcome people already there. now you didn’t happen to also send her one of your psycho PMs did you?
have you always been this awkward in social interactions? hey i’m just yanking your chain. of course you have. i mean you couldn’t even hang onto your mail order bride.
btw how’s your plan to be the de facto TUSCL moderator coming? have posters begun to stop pointing out what an idiot you are?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your background - it was interesting.
Prior to TUSCL I would periodically pick up a newspaper in adult bookstores. I think it was called "Climax Times" and it would have very limited, but useful information on clubs and massage parlors in various cities. Does anybody else remember this publication? I assume the internet made it obsolete. It was, however, a useful tool for finding clubs that offered more than just air dances.
I joined in 2012.
Started visiting strip clubs in 2010. Had lots of hits and misses. Great clubs. Shitty clubs. Divas to ROBs.
After a string of crappy experiences wondered if there was a better way. Landed at a few strip club review sites. Found TUSCL to be best organized and reviews matching reality.
But at first had a real tough time understanding you TUSCL fellas and your TLA's and code words.
Heck didn't even know what OTC meant ! https://www.tuscl.net/postread.php?PID=1…
I stuck around for the discussions, which are a virtual Algonquin Roundtable of wit and sophistication.
I joined this site, like every noob looking to get intel, stayed around because the Dougster & RBD rivalry had me lmao, and I don't know anyone IRL who loves strippers and strip clubs as much as I do.
It has saved me much $ over the years by steering me away from the rip-off places.
I look at it weekly, and intensely before any trip I am taking.
I left for a while and then came back as John Smith. I monitored the discussions for a year or so. Then one day I realized that I knew enough about strip clubbing to contribute so I started being a participant.
so i joined TUSCL and i don't think i started contributing in the discussions right away....but i did shortly after
