Time for a new ATF?

  Sounds like she had to work, and in her line of work, spending time with as many PLs as possible is an investment. If she wows them now, next time they're in, they just might look for her. And considering she did apologize and she evidently entertained you (wink, wink), well, it doesn't really sound like she ignored you. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.
  
  Now if there were only a couple other PLs in the club and she kept putting you off for them, then I'd re-think the situation between you two.

  For me, there's some tension here, between what I know is reasonable, and what I'm doing at the club in the first place. On the "reasonable" side, it's been slow, there's finally a busy night, and the girl has an all-too-rare opportunity to make some bank. Are you fucking kidding me? She should have handled it better -- she should have come by, apologized, told you how important tonight's rare busy crowd was to her, promised to make it up to you, basically regular-hustled you, and the fact that she didn't really is a bad mistake. But overall, her taking advantage of a windfall and sweet-talking you into making it up another time -- that's reasonable.
  
  The thing is, I don't go to the strip club to be reasonable. When I get home from the strip club, and my buddies ask me how it was, one thing I"ll never fucking answer: "Well, didn't have much fun, was very annoyed, but I was REASONABLE, and that makes all the $ I spend there worth it." This is a luxury activity, and one that should be pure enjoyment for me, and when it's not, I move on, reason be damned. And the more money I spend on a girl, the more unreasonable I become. At my most PLish, I'll see my ATF once a week, every week, on the absolute slowest part of her shift, so during a 3-hour time period where most girls are lucky to sell a few $20 lappers, my ATF gets to start her shift with 2-3 VIPs, with all the pressure off her going into the busier time of the shift (when I'll leave so she can compete for the sucker busy-time customers). I'll also take care of her friends, and she'll be the queen bee in the club while I"m there (since she's the only one making money, and she's deciding who to invite to our table) In return, I expect things. I expect her to have gotten rid of her last customer and be waiting for me at the bar when I walk in. I expect her to stick with me, and only me, the entire 3+ hours I'll be there -- and if one of her whales walks in or it gets unusually busy, if she and I already had an appointment, I expect her to stick with me (or perhaps sweetly ask permission if she can go do a quick dance elsewhere,but it better be quick). That's the kind of treatment that makes me happy, I don't care whether it's reasonable or not, and I've had no shortage of ATFs through the years who thought the steady slow-shift income was worth giving up a windfall here and there. If it weren't so easy to get ATFs who'll play ball, I might re-think whether I should be more reasonable. So that's the standard for me, and violations get me looking for me next ATF.

  My ATF was excellent at handling these situations. If it was busy or there were a few other regulars in the house, she would seek me out, quickly explain the situation and check my schedule. If Inhad the time to wait, she would clear her other "obligations" first and then finish her shift with me (she was on day shift so it never was too late), then I got to spend open-ended time with her without the pressure of her needing to keep working the room. On occasion, I was on a short time frame and she'd work me in quicker.

  Exactly! I think it's good to remind ourselves that this is her job, but not fall over into SW territory where the value of any customer is worthless. I don't know how good of a regular OP is, but if he's a good regular, he should expect special treatment... this is "Knowing your value as a customer" 101. There is value to being a regular reliable income stream ... the fact that you usually only spend $300 but she has an opportunity to make $700 with other customers today, isn't the whole story, if you're spending that $300 week in and week out. Especially if you two pre-booked an appointment (I try to get an ethic of "the appointment is sacred" in my CFs... if I see a stripper I like more, doesn't matter, I stick with CF if we had an appointment; vice versa for her. I'm far more understanding if I just dropped in without telling her)
  
  Maybe more importantly, strippers need to know how to manage their regulars. The fact that OP was so upset that he'd come here to vent probably is proof that she handled it badly. As unreasonable as I claim I am, I find myself becoming much more reasonable if she sweet-talks me, "asks permission" so it feels like it's my choice, promises to make it up (and actually remembers and does so), etc.

  I went to my originals ATFs club to see her. She was expecting me but before I got there she had to do a VIP trip with another customer. At one point she came out and found me and explained that she didn't know how much longer she would be. She tried to give me $40 to get some dancers with other while I waited for her. I declined the money and said that I would just wait for her.
  
  A while later a guy in a suit approached my table with a dancer that I knew slightly. He shook my hand and introduced himself as the manager. He then introduced the dancer and tells me that my ATF has prepaid for me to take her to the couch room for some dances. well I did and got some very nice warm up dances.
  
  I found out later that the dancer and the manager were secretly married. My ATF finally joined me and I had a great time on the whales dime.
  
  She was always sending me "thank you" notes and buying me gifts She once gave me an answering machine so that she could leave me messages. This was prior to cell phones. :)
  
  I would say that she had mastered customer service better than any other stripper that I have met.

  Believer it or not, some strippers have a very low tolerance for anything they perceive as drama and will drop you in a heartbeat, no matter how much you spend on them.
  
  It sucks but it seems that men are easily replaceable. There will be no shortage of PLs giving her money regularly. There's plenty of beautiful women in the strip club but there's a reason why you picked your ATF over others. It's not just tits and ass.
  
  It will be easier for her to replace you with another ATM than for you to find another ATF.

  I think it is way too soon to bail on an ATF based on what you describe.
  
  When I'm in the club my favorites are free to come and go as they please. however, they know that I am free game when they are gone. They can go spend time with other PL's as they please but when they come back, there's likely to be different honey sitting with me getting tips that would have gone to them otherwise. I'm always on the look out for new favorites.

  I didn't answer OP's question about whether it's time to find a new ATF, I was concentrating on making sure he didn't go overboard thinking he's unreasonable. For me, if something bugged me this much, I'd be having a discussion with her about my expectations when we make an appointment, but it would be a discussion and not a lecture -- that is, I'd want her to give her POV. Could be there just needs to be better stripper/regular management that you can both live with (in which case, you'll put it to bed and be happier for it), or it could be that your expectations and hers just don't match (in which case, either say sayonara to her, or expect to be disappointed more often).

  I guess from the general consensus, I'll stick it out with my ATF. She did apologize profusely, and I can't blame her for trying to make a little bank.....
  A big thanks to all who shared their wisdom and insights with me!
  
  Last, Subraman, my expectations are indeed constantly growing! But for now, she is the best with the least amount of trouble!

  I live/work two hours from SC. It variable when I can make it.. My current ATF is because she has special skills.. She is not the prettiest, or built the best, but she is attentive and adaptive.... Now she texts me when she wants me to make extra effort to get there for her shift... And when I am there she wants to spend all her time with me.. If it's busy I lay low or head out for a bit... I know if I sit at the tip rail and tip at least a couple of bills for each song of every set that no one else will approach me... and those that do get turned down... Oh.. and the ones that are prettier and better built get better tips... unless their effort is really lame...
  In summary... for all the ladies.. whether they are ATF or not.. it is all about $$$$ and why should they not have more than one fav PL.... I have chosen them because there is a connection for multiple factors.. esp that she will give me special attention even if I am a FUO PL... for me to expect to be the center of attention at times they can maximize their income would make me even more of a douche..... in this business neither of us should have to apologize....

  Strippers and escorts seem to be around the sort of people who just take apologies as sign of weakness, so they aren't inclined to apologize. She is going to go wherever she thinks she'll make the most money. If a stripper's not doing what you want, don't whine, pay.

  My ATF, after doing her tip round after her stage dance said that one of her regulars was there and that he was going to be leaving soon. He asked her if I might be willing to share (her words). She said,"It's OK if you say no." I told her that I figured the guy would be good for four dances and that I understood that regulars are all important to her income stream, and as much as I would like to be, four to six visits a year was about a maximum. I told her to go make her money and that I would be waiting when she was done.
  
  I was, she came back promptly, and we finished out the afternoon with a very hot session.
