How much of a bitch must Kris Jenner be to turn her husband into a woman?

He said in his interview he was always transgender, although he didn't understand what was going on when he was younger. Apparently when he married Kris he was already taking female hormones (and was a 36B), so she's maybe his only wife who knew what she was getting into.

I was flipping channels once and came on the Kardashian shit. Kim was telling Kris "did you ever stop and think, your husband is an olympic gold medalist, but every plaque and trophy in this house is one of yours?".

No I wouldn't. I didn't find him particularly attractive when he was a guy, so I don't expect that I would find him attractive as a woman.

From what I have seen & read about transgendered folks....yes I believe they would give up alot of things to be in the "right" body. And there are a surprisingly large number of transgendered people that maintain their sexual orientation, like I suspect Jenner (who likes women) will. Sexual orientation and gender identity are 2 different things, I guess. It can definitely get confusing.

I heard him say during the "interview" that he hadn't been with a man, so I assume that at this point he has no intention of being bi-sexual. That leaves him to be sexual with women or not at all. I think he is suffering from Michael Jackson Syndrome.

Sounds to me like he messed up if he likes women and was in a body that women found hot. I guess whatever floats your boat.

He's 65, and now he wants to become a woman? He's about 40 years too late. This whole thing grosses me out.

Apparently his first wife Linda Thompson knew about his wish to be female and it led to their divorce.

I don't pretend to understand Bruce or transexuals. But as I've gotten older I've come to understand that different people need different things and I can't impose my desires or values on them. I think Bruce should do what he wants with his life. It doesn't hurt me in any way.

I watched the series "Transparent" on Amazon Instant Video last year. It was a good show and it gives good insights into transexuals.

I have found that just because you want to be a woman doesn't men you like men. One time I was on vacation and this fuck nut guy in his late 50s would strut around on the beach in a thong bikini with fake boobs. At night he'd wear a dress. During the day he relentlessly chased young women on the beach so obviously he liked women - he only went after the hot ones too so he had good taste in women, just bad taste in dresses.

Bruce confuses me because what little I watched of the kardashians he seems all man - R/C airplanes, sports, etc. I guess it's more like he's just a guy, who wants boobs and wants to dress like a woman. I'm guessing he will keep his male anatomy so he can still be intimate with women.

I just don't get it - but I guess I have to respect that not all people share the same Herero sexual views as me.

^^sounds like your describing a transvestite, which I'd different than a transexual. Google it to see the difference.

Now Kris Jenner is saying she thought she could "fix him". So, now its apparent his ex-wives knew about his wish.

So, what's more strange? Jenner becoming a girl or the wives thinking they fix him.

It's a non-brilliant idea to think you can "fix" anybody! :(

I don't know - didn't watch the interview. But I thought I heard somewhere that he (and I think that was the pronoun Jenner preferred) was transgender but attracted to women.

I'm glad that Jenner has found a way to be more comfortable in his own skin! He's not hurting anybody so let him take his own path to happiness! Happiness is brilliant! :)

Maybe it's apples and oranges, but there are also rare people who desperately want to have their legs amputated. They will try to create badly infected wounds in their legs to force amputation.

I guess the bottom line is that taking away people's control of their own body is more dangerous than allowing people to make possibly bad choices. Don't get me wrong, if someone's honestly happy with a gender reassignment, great. But potentially it could be like a boob job, the person has unrealistic expectations of how much it will solve things that are bothering them.

Gender reassignment is still pretty uncommon, and most people have to wait years before actually getting surgery. After years invested in slowly going thru the transition, I doubt that there are many that regretted it. I would imagine that the biggest regret for many was waiting so long before deciding to do it.

It's never been clear to me why people have to wait so long.

In Iran, among their many insane ideas, they think that gay and lesbian people are really also transgender, but are in denial. They pressure gays and lesbians to have gender reassignment. But somewhat good if you are really trans, because the government foots the whole bill for the surgery, hormones and other medical costs.

Definitely a confusing situation, South Park even highlighted that point not to long ago.

It seems that a person wanting to transition must undergo pretty extensive psychological counseling, and then they must live as the other gender for a minimum of at least 1 year....I don't know if they allow hormone therapy to begin then, or if the person has to wait out that year before starting it. To live as the opposite sex for a whole year without the help of hormones would be really tough. I don't know how any guy could pass as female without hormones, so that year would be pure hell. But if they get thru that then I guess they have proved that they really mean it. Once they are approved, it takes multiple surgeries and alot of time to complete it. But it must be worth it to them to be willing to go thru with all of it.
