I love seeing women customers, as long as they are there because they want to and are treating the dancers OK. In fact my favorite wingman is a woman. But if the female customers are acting the fool or dissing the dancers then they need to go.
If they go b/c they are into women and want to get dances; cool – if they go and treat the SC like a hangout spot or a dance club for them to dance to the music – then as they say in France “fuck off” :)
I ask because I have only ever been to one. It was a tacky topless bar but my friend and I had alot of fun. I hear it is frowned upon for a woman to go by herself. We do not have strip clubs where I live. I travel often and think that it would be fun
Some clubs in some areas don’t allow unescorted women b/c they think they are escorts there to pick up custies – but that is some clubs in some areas.
o/w – all kinds of people go to the clubs and a woman will not necessarily be out of place (although if she’s fine she may get horny stares from the sausage gallery).
Upscale clubs are probably better for women though since they are not as “rough around the edges”.
HoneyBee - as an actual solo going lesbian female stripclub PL, I will definitely agree with sclvr & Papi. Women in the clubs for the right reason are always welcomed. I go to clubs to ogle & fondle naked women, and I go alone by choice. If a woman loves women (sexually) then she should definitely avail herself of the fine offerings of stripclubs.
I gotta ask - where do you live that there are no stripclubs? You poor thing!
I don't like women in the club when they are there to watch their bf/husband like a hawk and make sure he doesn't have any fun, while also looking scornfully at the rest of us horny PLs. However, as others have said, women who are there to join in the fun enhance the atmosphere greatly.
Allow me to chime in on the contrary -- but let me explain.
Women tend to draw a lot of attention from the dancers, notably on stage, but off it, too. That's attention that isn't being paid to me, which is annoying if it's coming from a dancer whose attention I want. Now granted, yeah, it is kind of cool when a dancer lifts the shirt of a woman there or whatever, but generally speaking, there's no real competing with a woman customer or a group of women customers for a dancer's attention.
Plus, women at a club are probably more apt to look down their noses at a guy there on his own like me, even if they're there to party. It's like adding to the numbers of women at a club who you can't touch or get dances from, much less have even more fun with. I go to the club to get away from women with whom I have no chance looking scornfully at me, not to see more of them with more-intense scorn.
Don't get me wrong, not saying they shouldn't go or shouldn't be able to go, by any stretch. It's just that they seem to have an inherent advantage, and don't do anything to help my experience. But there's not really anything I can do about it.
For an audition? Sure. A lot of women are doing things just to break the all male barrier. There is a movement in New England to force college fraternities to admit women or risk being abolished. In my favorite downtown Detroit cigar bar, I have noticed that half of the patrons on any Saturday night are women--not smoking cigars, just looking for dates. SCs may be seen as a pool of available men by women looking for dates or just hook-ups. Sen John McCain said on TV this week that he was fine with women being assigned to combat. In sum, we are seeing the end of "men only."
I have mixed feelings about this. When I first started seeing girls go to strip clubs, I thought it was awesome to see them there and wished that I could always see abundant female patronage in strip clubs, but now that it is commonplace, it don't do anything for me anymore. Also, too many women seem forced into going by their boyfriends or husbands. I wouldn't want a total ban, but at the least, all women should be escorted by a man. OTOH, I don't know how that's fair to the Lopaw's of the world. I suspect Lopaw is not the only lesbian who goes by herself to strip clubs. There ought to be some legal way to allow lesbians to go to strip clubs by themselves while keeping out the bad news girls.
I used to despise them but after being at my new club for 6 months I've warmed up to them. I can't say what prompted my change of heart but the other day I was working at my old watering hole when a female regular came in and I sat with her. The manager on duty was aghast and politely inquired if I was sick or on drugs. "Nope, but hell did freeze over!" I replied.
So what we need is a test for lesbianism at the door. Maybe all female customers have to make out with the cute door girl. Those that do, get in with no cover. Those that won't can't get in without an escort.
I am bi-sexual. I live on a island in the middle of the Atlantic. So there are no strip clubs. Maybe in the US there should be stripclubs that cater to lesbians. There is so much out there for men. I feel a bit left out. I do appreciate all your opinions

@ Honeybee: Have you looked thoroughly, on line, for strip clubs where you live? TUSCL shows a lot of Caribbean strip clubs. There could be some clubs in Bermuda, or the Azores that aren't listed.

This was talked about when I first joined. It was the first time people got pissed over what I said. The straight and gay women customers want different things from the dancers than men do. They related to them differently.
But one good factor, the dancers are always kissing the women customers. So it makes it easier for us to kiss the dancers.
Papi, another reason I think some clubs don't allow unescorted women in is because those women might be looking for their guys and then start a scene.
Personally, I don't think co-workers should be allowed to hang out at their clubs. More than once, a dancer has ditched me to hang out with a co-workers who's stopped by (and, no, I never took that personally -- honest!).
Sometimes, though, the shows can get a bit more interesting. One time, I walked into a club to see a couple of women eating each other out on stage. One was definitely a dancer. I don't know if the other one was a co-worker or a visiting civilian. Considering there were three or four other women with her, it was definitely a girls' night out, possibly even a bachelorette party.

I didn't post on this thread because I wasn't sure how I felt. Then last night there were a lot of women at my club which is unusual. I remembered this thread, and I realized they had no impact on my own club experience . I was embarrassed I didn't realize that in the first place. My regular girl was there for me, and she's not bi or gay so there was no competition!
I don't mind them being there. I prefer them to be there for the same reasons as me. I've seen one too many gf or spouses crying in bathrooms about stuff or giving dancers the evil eye if it wasn't their idea being there.

Are you straight; bi, or lesbian?

No, that would be YOU doing those things.
