  Shooting down an airliner at 35,000' requires a sophisticated missile system and radar support. The Ukraine doesn't have that capability but apparently Putin figures no one in Russia knows that.

It's part of an American plan to wage war on Russia" Wow, didn't know they had Fox News in Russia, :-P Seriously, OP, it's called PROPAGANDA -- aimed at Russian citizens. No surprise, many governments do the same.

  Some members take these posts seriously ??? I took OP remarks as light humor. "IMO anyone getting their news from the government, the media or a strip club discussion board should preface their opinions stating that they don’t really care about the truth." -- Che Thought that was evident from even a casual reading of posted "news" items here. Most 'news' posters are trying to stimulate [ :) ] further posts not serious discussion [with a few exceptions]. And the trolls usually sabotage that. Everything written on this site should be considered a work of fiction.

Actually, I think he was at a fundraiser and didn't really bother to stop raising funds when this news hit. Republican or Democrat, quit thinking that either of them gives two shits about what happens to people other than how it affects their politics. None of those idiots in washington are looking out for us little guys.

  The only shocking thing is how wobbly and overcomplicated the conspiracy theories can be. 911 Truthers, Moon Hoaxers, JFKers, Birthers, anti-vaxxers, these Russian guys, they all seem to rely on some perverse premise that "well, we know official sources lie, so whatever is the most extremely contrary to the official sources must be credible" regardless of whether it even makes any sense.
