Police: Fla. father beats accused child abuser

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A Daytona Beach father beat an 18-year-old man unconscious after finding him sexually abusing his 11-year-old son early Friday morning, police said.

The father called 911 around 1 a.m. after he walked in on the alleged abuse, police said. When officers arrived, they found Raymond Frolander motionless on the living room floor. He had several knots on his face and was bleeding from the mouth.

"He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you," the father told the 911 dispatcher. "I drug him out to the living room."

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/1tZV6o9 ) reports that the father — who was not identified by police — told investigators he walked in as Frolander was abusing the boy.

When asked by the 911 dispatcher if any weapons were involved, the father said "my foot and my fist."

The father has not been charged with any crime.

"Dad was acting like a dad. I don't see anything we should charge the dad with," Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood said. "You have an 18-year-old who has clearly picked his target, groomed his target and had sex with the victim multiple times."

Frolander is charged with sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail. It was not immediately known whether he'd hired a lawyer.

According to the arrest affidavit, Frolander admitted the abuse.

My god, really? I'm shocked. There really is some sanity in this world. Not only is the father a hero, but Police Office Mike Chitwood should have a freakin' statue in front of the police station.

Bravo all around.

Awww, come on...there has to be ONE liberal here who thinks the kid was just a victim of injustice brought about by a white male corporate greed mentality, and oppression and intolerance of those who practice alternate sexual preferences.

Nobody wants to say that all of us males are just suffering from pedophobia?

Go ahead... make my day... :)

By the way, is anyone else kinda surprised that an 18 year old did this? I dunno, I just don't associate kids that age with weird shit like this. Maybe I'm way off though.

It wouldn't surprise me if a news article pops up in the near future about an 18 year old boy who borrowed his father's .45 and ended it all. That's some bad shit to have to deal with at that age, especially when it goes public like that.

Eighteen, unfortunately, is not a surprise to me. The mildly autistic son of one of our friends was sodomized by an 18 yo. It took months of counselling to get him back to his former state.

What truly amazes me about this story is that the father stopped short of beating the s.o.b. to death. I'm not sure I would have had the same control.

Hope that the perp "enjoys" his time in prison.

I would've shot him most certainly.

Had it been my son, shot him twice, in the head. This is the lowest of the low.

I'm not sure I would have even called the cops. Since I have always live way out in the country and if you bury a body deep enough even the cadaver dogs cant smell it. Have you all ever seen 'Casino' with Joe Pesci where the mob finally tires of his out of control violence and take him and his brother out to the middle of a corn field, use aluminum ball bats on them and bury them alive in a 10 ft. deep hole. Simple shooting is better than a child abuser deserves. I have read that states now isolate abusers (at added expense) from the regular prison population to protect them. These people fuck these kids whole lives up and I do not believe most ever get over it.

This sounds like it could be made into a rape and revenge horror movie like I Spit On Your Grave. Accept the victim is the son and the one getting the revenge is the father

This liberal backwords country will come to come to the black child molestor's defense. NAACP, Trayvon Martin's parents, Obama, and SPLC will all see that the father does time in prison for beating the queer. All the homo activist groups will claim that these poor homosexuals should be allowed gay marriage with minors. I doubt the homosexual will even do much time for his crime as some liberal public defender will have him back on the streets in no time.

@nutting: Kurt Vonnegut got it right in Slaughterhouse Five. Shoot the guy once in the balls. Give him a minute to contemplate life without balls, and then once more between the eyes.
