1. Some kind of put-on.

If you see one who is obviously giving you the eye and DOESN'T AVERT HIS EYES when you look at him, give him a big smile and go see him when you're finished on stage. Try to read through the whole newspaper each day - no kidding! This will help you carry on a conversation on just about any subject. Spend some time, say 10 minutes, before asking him if he would like a dance.
