Two girls from the same club try to run some the same hamfisted scam on me.
About 5 months ago I met a girl in my new local club and, about 20 minutes into our conversation, she starts pushing to "hang out" sometime and we exchange numbers. Now I believed, at that time, that this was a normal and customary stringalong gambit and treated it accordingly - meaning I ignored it. However, I enjoyed my time with her enough (she was a hot fucking ticket) that I tipped her barside over the course of an hour and a half - perhaps $120 all-in, though that 90 minutes included two stage sets and a couple of circuits around the room. When I left, she echoed her offer, which again I simply assumed was an effort to put me on the hook for future club visits.
I was wrong. In fact, the few times I texted her over the next four weeks to find out when she was working again, she instead tried to steer me towards dinner or other social meetups. And each time, she tried to lock me in for the very next night. I had no interest in seeing her in an ambiguous social meetup until I knew what she was looking for, so I continued to decline.
Finally, on a night when I was supposed to see her in the club, the following text exchange occurred:

Her: Would you possibly meet up with me and lend me a few bucks to get to work and get some food for my house? I just got my own apartment...I need help and maybe we can meet up later after work and arrange something funn
Me: Sorry honey, but that's really not my type of gig. And I don't know you well enough to be doing those types of favors on spec.
Her: Okay I am just get gas to get to work. (Unlikely)
Her: How about u come in tomorrow night I'll be working from xx to xx (Also unlikely)
Me: Maybe I gave you the wrong impression about me. My "friends' become so through established p4p relationships. And when they need $$$, I offer them earning gigs, not loans.
Me: And if u really wanted to get to work so badly you would have asked for a ride, not cash at some public spot."

Probably needless to say, but I didn't hear back from her after my last texts.
Then, just last week ANOTHER girl, who I hung out with once for about an hour at this club, sends me the following text:
"Hey its XXX how r u? I have a big emergency work was real bad and I cant pay my hotel can u help me please"
I really have to start working on whatever vibe I'm giving off. Are these girls really so stupid as to believe that some guy is just going to drive out to them and hand them money based upon one brief visit in the club? What might I be missing here?

Unless you left out the sex part of your story, you spent that $120 on essentially nothing but a reasonably interesting time with a hot chick. By the percentages, she likely figured you were good for more cash for nothing, and it didn't cost her more than a couple of text messages to give it a try.
And no, she didn't really lose much of anything since you would likely have stopped spending money on her shortly anyway, given that she probably wasn't gonna put out. Her efforts are better spent on someone who *is* going to call for it.
No mystery here. Standard game, even outside of stripper circles.
Last one I got was from a dancer I barely know and only had two pretty tame VIP sessions with. I get a txt from her asking for 1500 to take care of some BS because I'm the only one she had to ask. Right.
So many of them do it, I have to assume a lot of PL's for the shit.
A couple of weeks later she called again and I reiterated the previous answer. She came up with a story the previous call was not her but from her sister. (Yeah right). My next comment was an emphatic "NO!" and cut the phone call short.
My cell phone then begin to lite up with a barrage of scathing text messages. After about a dozen of her rants, I texted "Please don't contact me ever again". She did send one more. It was a full length mirror photo of her offering me a one finger salute.
Over the years, I admit to letting a real babe sucker me into occasionally offering assistance, but ONLY ONCE DID IT EVER PROVE OUT TO BE SOMETHING MORE THAN A SCAM.
Remember - Strip Club are a fantasy atmosphere and patrons need to always be aware of such.
The reality is most of these girls think (or assume) all custies are stupid for spending a single dollar at a club, and they are simply trying to see how far they can take advantage of the stupid custies.
I don't think dancers all think we are stupid. We just don't turn them on, they don't enjoy our company, so they want $$$ for time and sexual activity with us. The con comes in when they want large sums of money for sex or emotional attachments that are never going to happen.

Having said this, I agree in principal that tipping for barside entertainment is probably causing a lot of my problems. It is just not as common down here as it was in my former home club in NY and may be leading these girls to believe that I am an easy mark with money to burn. Shit, down here the girls are grateful if you simply buy them a cocktail. I may have to make some adjustments to my game to account for the cultural differences.

For us hicks here in flyover country though, in several establishments I know, that same $120 will get significantly more than just some "hands on". Mind you, there's a couple of places here in Louisville that will net you about the same as you described (or less, in one case with some girls), but for a fair few of the others, that's at least a blowjob, or a healthy chunk of one.

And how much would anyone care to bet that he "edited" what he said in the actual conversation with her to conceal what a true pussy he was after the fact?
Suppose someone were to pay the $50,000 or whatever it is you charge for the unabridged version of The System, but then they went into a strip club, paid $120 for conversation only, never got OTC and then demanded would you give it to them. Is The System a full money-back guarantee product?

I don't pay for services not rendered. Unless I am getting really high mileage feeling a gal at my table I don' pay her anything much - prolly $20 to stay awhile and maybe hint at buying a couple of dances.

GMD, that's a different ball o' wax. In clubs where this stuff is available, I'm much less likely to tip for barside entertainment. But in most NY/CT clubs, $120 will get you maybe 5 LDs (which I don't enjoy anyway) and perhaps a thank you kiss on the cheek. No girl's panties are getting soaked over $120 in that part of the country.
In my new favorite haunt, it is $30 per LD and FS/BJ are not usually on the menu, so i have zero interest in going back in one of these clubs. Hence I started my same gig, but have been receiving an education in the cultural differences. On can get a half hour with a good looking BP escort for that kind of money. I should also say that, around here, a guy who actually buys 4 of those LDs from a girl is a mini-hero and also gets a lot of her attention barside, so I may need to change my game up, bite the bullet, and use LDs as my icebreaker in this neck of the woods.
