U.S. to more heavily scrutinize "good moral character" citizenship requirement

yahoo.com

Are Cuban strippers who don't already have their citizenship going to be deported because of this?

Willing to fuck for money, i.e. a straightforward business transaction, is "good moral character".

A three times divorced president, who has cheated on all of his wives, and found guilty of sexual assault, only wants to let in people of "good moral character". You can't make this shit up.

Yes, Cuban strippers are completely fucked by this administration. There are half a million people who followed the law and migrated here legally under the CHNV program. The Trump administration has revoked the legal status of everyone who immigrated here under that program. Source: nbcnews.com

That revocation is going to affect tons of cubana strippers. This "moral character" nonsense will make it harder for the ones remaining to get their full citizenship, but honestly, the vast majority of Cuban immigrants aren't even going to get to the point of getting a green card because though they were once here legally, they suddenly find themselves being here illegally.

Puddy, I'm never going to read what you wrote. I will never unblock you. I don't need to unblock you to know that you have nothing to offer other than name calling and shaming others for the hobby.

@Founder, PLEASE FIX THIS EXPLOIT. Trolls like Puddy shouldn't be able to harass users via the @mention feature when they are blocked. My patience for participation here is wearing thin. At some point you're going to have to choose between having participants with something to offer and a nest full of trolls who drive everyone else away.

Its not going to have relevance to drug dealers, drug consumers and prostitutes. Those things were all already illegal, and someone trying to enter the country would already be hiding those things if they were into them.

But “good moral character” is broad and subjective if its not just about not being a criminal. It could be used to discriminate against certain political/religious/social views. Maybe it could be used to discriminate against single mothers based on the family ties thing

“ listing community involvement, family caregiving and ties, educational attainment, "stable and lawful" employment, the length of time spent in the U.S., and paying taxes as some of those factors.”

I dont know if it would be targeting strippers/sex workers specifically but it could be targeting people with opposing political, social views

A lot of these people might already have created llcs to funnel their drug or sex work money

I agree about PT (also have him muted), but seems like a first world problem that you can see it when somebody you muted references you. I don't think providing this site would be worth it to founder based on the income it generates. Our expectations should take that into consideration.

@Puddy what do you think of what guys like Ron Paul say on immigration? He says if you remove the welfare programs and other incentives/freebies you would automatically reduce immigration massively via less people wanting to immigrate

Also regarding Muslims and extra scrutiny i dont think they could openly do that, it would fall under religious discrimination. I think the way Trump did Muslim ban in the first term was just that he banned or restricted immigration from some of the most high crime countries or something like that.

But how would it even work for people who were Muslim but changed religions? Middle eastern Christians or Atheists who still have Arab names? Or people who are Muslim but lie about being so?

Also would you be okay with cash flows being tracked for all citizens or only Muslims? I would think if they were going to track cash flows it would be done to everyone. Which some people will be okay with and some will consider a privacy violation.

I tried to convince my Cuban fav she should talk to her lawyer about this. She basically said she couldn't see why anyone would think being a stripper was a sign of bad character. Not sure if she's being naive about the influence of hateful prudishness in the US. Or if it's just the Latino tendency to fatalism. Or some combo.
