What happened to the Rock n' Roll / Alternative music dancers?

All I see are booty shakin ho's. Fuck em. Where are the rock n' roll dancers or even alternative dancers? Where can I get a decent lapdance anymore? All that is available is air dance shake your booty from dancers. Are there any clubs left that do not cater to rap/hip hop?

Maybe you just need to get out of Austin.

Save your $$$ and go to Dallas or Houston – I believe you mentioned you’ve been to Baby Dolls Dallas and enjoyed it.

Maybe you need to try other clubs.

Coincidentally, club i was at last night, the dancer's two song set was Motorhead. Including Ace of Spades. Hell, she probably wasn't even born when the album was released. Rock will live on.

BTW – the stations that once played Rock and/or alternative are now most likely playing hip-hop.

    Things change.

Every club I've been to which has mostly white dancers always has some girls who dance to rock or alternative. In my area, Shakers in Waverly, Nebraska, down by Lincoln, plays a large amount of 90's alternative rock. They even played Ace of Spades there one of my recent visits, probably the only Motorhead song everyone knows. Of course, they also only have one-way contact, but it's a different atmosphere.

A girl asked me this weekend what song to dance too. I said London Calling by the Clash from then on the DJ played the regular stuff with the Clash sprinkled in for the rest of the night i enjoyed that immensely.

Went out of style. That's what happens as time goes on. They don't play swing either.

I would SO much love to hear a SC DJ play She's A Beauty, by the Tubes. It's a great rock song about a peep show dancer, but I think the music and lyrics lend themselves well to the stripclub world. I'd especially like to see one of my fave dancers, named Beauty, dance to it.
