Expanding my Horizons...

So, I've got a great stripper that I see OTC occasionally, but it's difficult to find mutual times that work well and needless to say the frequency is not what I want. So I'm thinking about expanding my horizons to an independent escort. I've done my research, read reviews of the same person on multiple sites and would like to move forward. However, she, and others like her, require verification that includes name and who I work for. This seems pretty par for the course for a 'high-end' girl, but it's still a little un-nerving to provide that info.
Anyone have experience with this, did it go well, bad?

I've never used Back Page but have used escort services from Yellow Pages and Internet sources.
I think guys that give this info are always at a disadvantage, say for example things don't go to plan and she performs badly etc what are you going to do when she can threaten you with telling your boss etc and if she's smart she could trace your family too.
As the previous comment suggests you have to either find a girl that won't go through this process or find an alternative method of verification.
This verification system is completely alien to us here in Europe, in London you can book any high-end girl at any price simply by calling her.
So strippers it is!
Last time I saw one, this was not being done. Don't think I'd care for it. Besides with dancers you can see UP close & reasonably personal just what you are buying.
Some kind of "high end" girls that have slick web sites say they require references. Backpage girls are either ugly - or I can't trust the photos.
So I agree about you can get to know dancers first.
If those options are off the table and you're that uncomfortable with it, keep looking. Eventually you'll find something that works and then that provider, assuming they are fairly legit, becomes a 'reference'.
So I set up a meeting with another girl, which required sending my info again. I was scared shitless in both instances, but luckily nothing bad came out of it. Interesting experience (I don't take part in the SC experience often, and the escort was a one time deal). It's such an unnerving process that it has led me to say that I won't take stupid chances like that again and just suffer through no sex (I'm single). Better safe than ruin my life. I don't think she ever called my employer though (without going into detail, it would be hard to verify my employment via calling the number I gave her); I think she just looked up the company on the web.
As londonguy mentioned, there seems to be no protection from guys seeking out escorts. They want all this information from us, but its not like we can ask for their "Certified Escort" membership card (boy, wouldn't that be nice?).
This is something I'll never understand. Millions of people die from lung cancer, millions die from drunk driving/liver cancer, but how many people have died from a good BJ/FS experience (assuming safe practices)? Which one out of those three is illegal? Hmmm...
BUT it is the journey to getting IN there that can be "interesting" or difficult. LOL
Risks of arrest seems low. Risk of inaccurate pictures and being stood up at the last minute is very, very high. Risk of a rip-off with a girl with many reviews or using a verification service is low. Generally much less bullshitting with escorts (unless they are former dancers). More likely than dancers to have no concept of what the word "friendly" means.
She will take referrals, but I have none. It looks like she accepts Date Check but that looks more intrusive than what she is asking for. Upon further review, she is not asking for my employer, but still wants full name and of course a contact number.
Like a strip club. It's the only difference I see between escorts and strippers that do extras.
