Expanding my Horizons...

Monday, July 22, 2013 1:54 PM
So, I've got a great stripper that I see OTC occasionally, but it's difficult to find mutual times that work well and needless to say the frequency is not what I want. So I'm thinking about expanding my horizons to an independent escort. I've done my research, read reviews of the same person on multiple sites and would like to move forward. However, she, and others like her, require verification that includes name and who I work for. This seems pretty par for the course for a 'high-end' girl, but it's still a little un-nerving to provide that info. Anyone have experience with this, did it go well, bad?

Some escorts who charge $300+ will advertise on Backpage when they travel. You may just have to get lucky and once they see you they can give you a reference to get a trial membership without having to verify job info etc... After they verify they have met with you, you can see other women in your area. Date check is the site I used.

My last name looks like a common name but instead of an "H" mine has a "K". When complying with the request I've purposely misspelled my name and a quick glance at my license has never let me down. I've never been asked for an employer by an escort, but if asked I'd respond "self -employed". I've never used Back Page but have used escort services from Yellow Pages and Internet sources.

I would NEVER give out this information. I'd rather not book an escort than go through the hassle of giving her the info. I think guys that give this info are always at a disadvantage, say for example things don't go to plan and she performs badly etc what are you going to do when she can threaten you with telling your boss etc and if she's smart she could trace your family too. As the previous comment suggests you have to either find a girl that won't go through this process or find an alternative method of verification. This verification system is completely alien to us here in Europe, in London you can book any high-end girl at any price simply by calling her.

I've never called an escort. Want to at times. But the verification system disturbs me. So strippers it is!

"But the verification system disturbs me" Last time I saw one, this was not being done. Don't think I'd care for it. Besides with dancers you can see UP close & reasonably personal just what you are buying.

^^ Some kind of "high end" girls that have slick web sites say they require references. Backpage girls are either ugly - or I can't trust the photos. So I agree about you can get to know dancers first.

That's why I've switched from escorts to strippers. However I did have great luck with escorts, especially in the Southern cities. Had a real hot college girl in Atlanta, a super BBBJ in Savannah, got the clap in Nashville....

Contact the girl, by phone or email. See if she'll offer an alternative. There are verification agencies and websites that some of them will accept. Others who state that they want said info will sometimes agree to a date without it. If those options are off the table and you're that uncomfortable with it, keep looking. Eventually you'll find something that works and then that provider, assuming they are fairly legit, becomes a 'reference'.

Did this once a couple years ago...girl required verification just like she told you. I signed up for preferred411, which was supposed to bypass verification by girl, but the few I contacted still wanted ID and job description to verify (so P411 turned out to be less than useful, but maybe she was less invasive than she would have been without it). I finally got the nerve to send one girl my info and we set up a meeting time. She bailed on me last minute and wanted to reschedule. Though thinking back, I'm thinking she got turned by LE by the way she was acting strange. She had lots of reviews by lots of people that have written lots of reviews (a technique to hopefully insure she is legit) but doesn't mean she got busted and is being used in a sting. So I set up a meeting with another girl, which required sending my info again. I was scared shitless in both instances, but luckily nothing bad came out of it. Interesting experience (I don't take part in the SC experience often, and the escort was a one time deal). It's such an unnerving process that it has led me to say that I won't take stupid chances like that again and just suffer through no sex (I'm single). Better safe than ruin my life. I don't think she ever called my employer though (without going into detail, it would be hard to verify my employment via calling the number I gave her); I think she just looked up the company on the web. As londonguy mentioned, there seems to be no protection from guys seeking out escorts. They want all this information from us, but its not like we can ask for their "Certified Escort" membership card (boy, wouldn't that be nice?). This is something I'll never understand. Millions of people die from lung cancer, millions die from drunk driving/liver cancer, but how many people have died from a good BJ/FS experience (assuming safe practices)? Which one out of those three is illegal? Hmmm...

Forgot to mention...supposedly, once you get over the hurdle of the first one, you are supposed to be "in" and you bounce the girls off each other as references (they call each other to verify you are who you say you are). But I never stayed in the game beyond the one time to see if that worked.

"high end low end a pussy is a pussy" BUT it is the journey to getting IN there that can be "interesting" or difficult. LOL

Maybe you can set up a web page for your hypothetical business. She's asks for job references, she has your web page. You are self-employed. Maye that can help.

Hiring an escort is not legally prostitution as long as neither party says that payment is in exchange for sex acts. I've never heard of anyone getting arrested who was careful about this. In Georgia they started requiring escort licenses to have an excuse to arrest escorts. Risks of arrest seems low. Risk of inaccurate pictures and being stood up at the last minute is very, very high. Risk of a rip-off with a girl with many reviews or using a verification service is low. Generally much less bullshitting with escorts (unless they are former dancers). More likely than dancers to have no concept of what the word "friendly" means.

I do not give out my employment information but have had success with providers by suggesting a "meet and greet" at a public setting such as my hotel's bar where we can get acquainted. I don't think it is my charm alone but I have never been refused an appointment after girls met me face-to-face.

I contacted a girl who's page stated that references were required, but like Otto said, she offered to meet in a neutral public place. I didn't go through with it, but it was an option.

Thanks everyone. Since I don't frequent SCs that often and the stripper I meet OTC is hard to schedule time with... I still want to pursue the escort route. However, I will suggest some alternatives to verification as suggested here and see what happens. She will take referrals, but I have none. It looks like she accepts Date Check but that looks more intrusive than what she is asking for. Upon further review, she is not asking for my employer, but still wants full name and of course a contact number.

Try a the meet & greet method at an upscale restaurant, hotel bar, etc. Maybe that might work. Get a different phone.

In my experience, escorts are not big on "meet and greets". If you can get them to do it, it will be hard to get them to charge you any less than what they would for a private meeting.

I think times are tough all over in the adult entertainment business so I would assume you would be able to find someone who would see you without that level of intrusive verification. Now whether you want to see someone who would do that is another story...kind of like the 'I wouldn't want to belong to a club that would have me as a member' deal.

Update: She agreed to meet for coffee. We'll see if she shows and take it from there. It took a little persuading and unfortunately I'll need to pa for her time, but at least I won't need to submit any info and I'll get to see what she's all about first.

"have had success with providers by suggesting a "meet and greet" at a public setting" - Otto Like a strip club. It's the only difference I see between escorts and strippers that do extras.
