Depends on where you are. I'm in Massachusetts and here permitting alone will cost more than $10,000. Liquor license? Lets start at $1000,000. Zoning:? Every town now has zoned adult entertainment zones and finding property in them is tough ( and expensive)

In Seattle, at least, I am guessing Dancing Bare would be the lowest budget operation.

It's in the back of a porn shop in a sleazy area of town. Rent cannot be high there. But then there is the cost of putting in the stage and sound system. (Maybe hire some Mexican labor and get the renovations done for what? $50,000k. What does a sound system cost?)

They elected not to go with a bar. Just keep some drinks in a fridge. No idea what a license cost.

Maybe $10,000 could work though. Just put in a brass pole in the basement of your new house. Bedrooms could be "VIP areas". A home bar shouldn't be too hard to set up. Then hire some girls you know and have an informal operation/brothel down there. Recruit PLs from local clubs, or have your girls do it for you. Need to be somewhat careful of LE though and you would probably get shut down in a few months as the neighbors got suspicious). (I remember the news mentioning the local cops busting a guy who was running an AMP out of his own home a few years back.)

A murder investigation led cops to a shocking array of crimes inside an unassuming Southern California home, including an unauthorized strip club and allegations of vicious child abuse.

The body of Calvin Lynch, 46, was found in July outside the Perris home of Gregory Bernard Lacy, 60, and his 43-year-old wife LaQuron McLean Lacy.

When detectives investigated the house, in a suburb of Riverside, they found a strip club set up on the lower level, KCBS-TV reported.

It featured a full-service bar, a stage and stripper pole, and a private “Exotic Zone” room, according to court documents.

Ecstasy pills sat on the kitchen counter, easily within reach of the couple’s seven adopted kids.

I was gonna say, there are clubs set up privately. Just want something that cars won't attract attention.

For $10,000 you could run a couple back-alley whores in Detroit.

Just get some midget hos and a van with no windows in the back. Set bed and a stripper pile. Pick up your clients and drive around. Whe they are done drop them off. Ten grand

The last club I recall reading about that started from scratch, cost about $5 million to start up. It was upscale very fancy facilities, a huge floor with room for over 400 customers, a large stage with smoke effects built in, and multiple side stages, a very expensive sound system, two private dance areas, and an even more private area upstairs. The owners also spent months finding top notch dancers and had about 50 hotties on opening night. Since then the club has gone through three different owners and two name changes.

A more typical neighborhood strip club with a small stage probably costs around $150,000 to $250,000 to start up depending on the rent and salaries paid to the non dancing staff.
