  I go for the highest mileage dancers. I do have my standards on appearance. Nothing lower than a 7.

  I don't feel like a "target" anyone. Ya just never know who might strike my fancy on a given night. That being said, I totally agree with ranukam: "My motto has always been, you're in a strip club with beautiful women, why not go after the most beautiful of them?" Maybe it's because ultra-high mileage (i.e. FS) isn't a priority as it is to some, I tend to prefer the hottest women. DFK, neck nuzzling, and mutual groping can keep me quite satisfied if it's with a "9" or "10".

  I thought only dancers did the targeting :) Awhile ago I was at Bare Elegance Airport in Ca doing some recon on places I'd like to work. I got a few dances so I could check out VIP and see what the girls were doing. I picked out the hottest girl by my standards that I could find. I waitedhave until she was free. She gave ne four horrible dances. She didnt know I was a dancer either. She then hit up my male companion for dances. She had absolutely no game and needed some serious help. She was by far the hottest girl in the place though

  I must say that I am looking more for a particular body type, outgoing personality and a face that isn't a turnoff. That doesn't precisely translate to a minimum number and it certainly doesn't necessarily mean the hottest in the room. Particularly since I am not going to sit around forever to get that one girl.

  Targeting is the wrong word. The question should be who do you try to get dances from. I can't say that I wouldn't get dances from a 9 while waiting for that 10 :) The point is some people look at really hot strippers and assume the dance is gonna suck.

  I suspect that ranukam and I have very different standards for what a "10" is. I'm more with motorhead in that I look for whatever strikes my fancy. I'll also admit that I can be sold if the right 6 or 7 sits down and makes for a pleasant conversation. In the end though I usually see something that I might be interested in that day and go tell her I want dances, cuts through the bullshit. If she's the only "10" in the club, fine, if she's only a 6 that's okay too. My motto has always been: I'm spending my money why not get exactly what I want?

  @Jester214- I think I know what you're talking about. The way I was tossing "10" around, you would think that I found at least one 10 (by my standards) everytime I club, but truth be told I don't come across very many 10's when I club. I see a lot of 8's and 9's. The key thing is the hottest dancer at that club. If the hottest dancer in the club is a 9, I will definitely go after her. If the hottest girl is a 8, I might go after her. If the hottest girl is a 7, I won't go after her. My perfect 10 would have to be: brunette (or black hair), tan skin, exotic looking, big ass, nice legs, beautiful face, long hair.

  Ranukam: I do not disagree that a 10 is highly desirable. But really, unless you go to the top tier clubs and pay top price, 10's are not that common. All my fav's were 7's, 8's, and a few 9's. These girls had all the attributes that a guy could want, body and personality wise. The only reason they weren't 10's was because of some small imperfection. But since I am just a normal guy too, I overlooked their small physical flaws. As a result, I usually had a bang-up good time with these girls and they loved me for picking them instead of the club superstar. In my limited experience, 10's know they are 10's and their shit doesn't stink.

  "Target" implies a dedication and focus that usually isn't there for me. I go to have fun, and if a chunky 6 is the one to provide that, so be it. To be sure, looks matter, I *am* a shallow bastard after all, but past a certain point, they're all attractive *enough*. Stellar good looks aren't strictly necessary, however much such might be an enhancement, and there's no guarantee that they *will* be an enhancement. All that said, in my experience, hotter does not automatically equate to better experience. IME, the hotter girls tend to depend on their looks more than their abilities. Certainly not *all*, or even nearly all, but enough that I no longer automatically go after the hotter girls. I'll give them all a shot.

  The reason 10's don't have to dance is because they have a world of other opportunities. They are either musicians, or models, or beauty contest winners, corporate executives, or doctors and lawyers wives. 10's don't need to dance. They already make 6 figure salaries, and when they strip, they either are having fun, or in love, or advancing their interest. An average girl can transform into a stripclub 10 with a little makeup, a little alcohol, and lots of revealed skin. You seldom find a Miss USA in the club.

  Finding the right dancer is kind of like shopping for a car. You have an idea of the model you like with certain features. But until you see the one you want and test drive her, its all a matter of preconceived ideas before that. One you touch her and she responds perfectly, then who cares how big her headlights are or if she has a perfect tan paintjob with blonde accents?

There's no way in hell I'm willing to wait for anybody that long, regardless of how hot she looks. I have also found, like Stiletto noted, that hot girls often give horrible lapdances. Unless her pussy is made out of spun gold, I'm more than happy "settling" for a 7, 8 or 9. And I'm sure my "8" is a "5" for some and a "10" to others. Looks are all so very subjective.

  ranukam, I'm not like this. I do always get a dance from one of the hottest dancers working, but I'm not the type of person who's going to wait around a couple hours to get a dance from a 10 if an 8 is already available. Looks are important, but they're aren't THAT important...at least to me they aren't. In fact, my best strip club visit was with a blonde dancer who I'd rate an 8. I'm not even a big fan of blondes, but there are always exceptions and this chick happened to be one of them. She was just very friendly and showed me a lot of attention, although I only bought a couple dances from her. That type of dancer beats out the best looking dancer any day of the week if you ask me.

  I Usually look for a 7 or higher, by my standards and "my" type of woman. There are times I have gotten dances from woman that are good looking, they may not be my normal type but because something clicked between us they were sometimes the best dances.

  As said before, not much correlation between "10" and good dance. Don't usually wait more than 1/2 hour for ANY dancer to become available - ATF or "9". True 10's are not strippers. Again, as said before, they don't have to be. And probably wouldn't be even if personal financial situation was temporarily a problem. Strip Club 10's are real world 8's and 9's.

  As gmd, and lopaw say. To further elaborate on the idea of what a 10 is, and time management: When choosing dancers, I don't go by looks alone. Certain intangibles like the way they carry themselves, and how they interact with others factor in it for me. At the clubs I go to, very rarely are there not 2-3 (even more) dancers that I'd be interested in. If I get "Ice Princess" vibes, or otherwise from a desired 9-10er, I'll pass every time. There have been times on initial stageside, or other interactions where dancer has sufficiently impressed me to say "wow, haven't met someone like that in a long time, gotta have her". Several times (too many, IMO), someone else before me came to the same conclusion. But, 2-3 hour wait? Screw that, life's too short. If I can't find anybody else who interests me in 20-30 minutes, I'll bail and go to another club.

  Yep 9s and 10s. Best looking (by definition), friendliest, and most likely to do OTC. Win-win-win. I'm okay with all the way down to 7 if there are no 9s or 10s, however. The stripper I knew who could fuck the best was a 7.5, so I think insisting on 9s and 10s limits the fun a bit. OTOH #2 and #3 were 10 and 9, respectively.
