Customers, What Kind of Stage Names Do You Prefer? Outrageous, porn star-esque

Candy_92
I'm going to keep this really short, but while working at a variety of different clubs, I've encountered all sorts of stage names, from the cliched, stereotypical exotic dancer pseudonyms (including Eden, Remy, Alize, Jewel, Sapphire, Diamond, Princess, Destiny, London, Coco, Cinnamon, Paris, Ginger, etc.) to stripper aliases that could easily be someone's real name (Heather, Victoria, Ariel, Isabella, Carly, Zoe, Kaylee, Olivia, Kylie, Nina, Nicole, Brooke, Holly Marie, etc.). Out of curiosity, I just wanted to know whether most of you custies out there prefer the crazy, over-the-top stripper names, or like the understated, girl-next-door names that don't automatically scream "STRIPPER!" Thanks :)
Comments
last commentI prefer girl-next-door only because they sound less phony.
Girl next door.
Meh, it doesn't really matter.
Candy, I remember you from a while back. I hope you stick around. Stiletto25 is awesome, and I really enjoy her input, but she's like the only dancer on here who posts on a regular basis. You should help change that. :)
As shadowcat said. By a large margin, my faves used regular girl names, vs over the top names. I see by your ommision of car names in your examples that you're smart enough to realize that such names only belong on cars. Please feel free to post more pics. BTW, welcome to site, Candy doesn't seem too over the top stripperish to me....
Candy, if she's as hot as you, I'm gonna forget her name anyway. 'Cause there won't be enough blood to my brain to sustain the higher cognitive functions.
I prefer that a dancer use her REAL 1st name.
I prefer normal names too. Two of my past three favorites used their real name and the third used a regular non-stripper name.
I never want to encounter another Neveah again!
"I never want to encounter another Neveah again!"
LOL - Yeah, I've heard that name too MANY times this year!
I don't care as long as the name doesn't sound like the names of five other dancers in the club. Those mumbly-fuck DJs make Sahara Sarah Tara Farrah all sound alike.
....which reminds me. Some clubs prohibit dancers from having the same name, but some don't care.
No kidding, I was at a club at shift change and there were at least 5 "Ambers". I know because I danced with 4 of them.
I don't really care, I probably won't remember it 10 minutes later if at all. Though the only two dancers who names I do remember were more traditional.
You have memory problems jester214? LOL
Regular names preferred.
Regular names preferred on my end, too.
the understated, girl-next-door names that automatically scream "CHEERLEADER!"
GND for sure
Regular names, by a large margin. I don't care if its your legal name though. However, some of your "over the top" stripper names are civilian names of folks I know. Eden, London, Paris, Ginger are all names of people in my phone that aren't strippers.
I have no interest in talking to Cinnamon or Destiny and I'm certainly not going to use those names in sentences like "no thanks, I'm waiting for [name]"
My preference would be very unusual, memorable names. I like to remember the names of girls I like so I can ask about them when I get to the club. That leaves out both "normal" names and typical stripper names.
How about:
Cathode
Beryllium
Gutter
Transit
Newel
Boomer
Cleat
Flue
Ahoy
Fathom
GND for me, but it really doesn't matter.
I prefer unusual names, because they are easier to remember. I must know at least a dozen each of Diamond, Honey, Jade (all non-asian!), Sapphire, Natasha, Starr, & Victoria. If a dancer asks me what I think of Diamond's new outfit, I mentally have to scroll thru the list of all of the Diamonds that I know so that I can try and figure out which one she's talking about!
Memory is fine Alucard, I just don't typically care enough to try to remember. Since I'm not normally a repeat customer (at the most I might be back months later) I don't ever repeat the name after they tell it, so at most I hear it once or twice and usually I'm gonna hear 5+ names of beautiful women in one night.
I like non-common names that have some character - some of the ones I've liked could very well be the girl's real name. Charlie, Cody, and Kira have all been good for me.
I was dancers would drop the name Mercedes. It's phony and overworked.
Only heard the "name", BJ, once. I'm a little surprised more don't use it.
Tiffany. All strippers should be called Tiffany.
lol, Jack, the very first dancer I was ever into had a stage name of Tiffany. She told mer her real name was Christina Combest....yeah right...so I just told her my name was Dick Pleasure....
When dancers ask me my name I often say Tiffany.
I always use real sounding names that start with the letter J, like Joey, Jillian, Jan, Jane, Jess, etc.
I prefer real sounding names. I'm probably not going to remember it anyway but would rather think of a image of a girl with a name rather than an image of a car I don't care about.
The exception would be if I can't pronounce the name. Then I would suggest a common American name.
Well, here goes my first comment.
I prefer the "Girl Next Door" names as opposed to some of the more outlandish stripper names that I have heard over the years. Some of my favorite dancers have told me their real names, i.e.: Penelope, Suzanne, Shellly and Carol. Coincendtally, all of thes ladies were veterean dancers of at least 10 years each. I guess thay got tired of trying to remmeber the B.S. names.
Who the fuck cares what strippers call themselves? Babe works with all of them.
@GoVikings: I started writing a reply to your comment, but it got way too long, so I sent you a PM instead :). I'm glad you remembered me (I certainly remember you, too), and it's great to be back! xox, Candy
@Candy, btw, I agree with @boobliker on this...Given a choice - my preference is for "Girl Next Door" kind of names like Angelina, Kimberly, Michelle, Nicole and Sabrina
I remember this one middle-eastern looking dancer saying how she could never use her real name in the club. I asked why not, and she told me her name was "Gizem", lol
steve,
Now that is funny!
