On average, it is difficult to have much fun if you spend under $100 - this is in NYC of course, where everything is pretty costly. If you go VIP (champagne room and whatnot) then forget about it (not something I do) - you're easily spending a grand at that point. So I guess this will depend market to market really, in some places you really need to spend a decent amount to have a good time, in other places...not so much.
Sometimes I've spent several hundred, but honestly it has been worth it for the good times had. Don't regret it, but am definitely cautious and will only splurge every now and then - not a regular thing.
$3000 at Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas - it was worth every penny. At least until I learned from this site that so much more is available for so much less.

Definitely something I quickly learned as well. But sometimes it is nice to treat yourself to an 'expensive' night out at the club...if you can afford it.

I agree with Supertramp about the education provided here. Prior to that I once did back to back one hour rooms at an upscale club to the tune of $1500-1800. To make matters worse, I did the same thing on two separate nights with the same dancer. I enjoyed myself at the time but kicked myself once I figured out what I could have done with the money.
On another night, in another club, with another dancer, I did three consecutive half-hour rooms with the best dancer I have ever danced with. It wasn't off the charts mileage, but it was worth every penny of the $1200 to me.
I don't normally spend more than a few hundred though.
Hit the shift change and got carried away at Tycoons in Detroit when it was a happening club. Dropped $500.00, well above my $200.00 average. VIP was worth it--in those days.
I always provide much hilarity here when I reply honestly to questions like this. Even though I now know my way around the SC world I am still capable of nights of silly irresponsibility. Case in point is my most recent SC visit in Vancouver - almost $2000. All time worst was in Wisconsin last summer - upwards of $8k. (I still have nightmares about that night.) Vancouver visit, surprisingly enough, was a blast; it just happened to be in a club of $50 lap dances and a large crew of super hot dancers.
Booze always plays a big part in these financial disasters.
Right at $500, but my average is MUCH lower. I really have two types of visits. Those (most of them) that may last less that an hour, and those that I plan to go visit. Most of my visits are spontaneous, when in the area or passing by a club with a few minutes to kill. Those, I may buy 1-2 drinks and tip a few dancers. Sometimes, a twenty can cover that.
I'd say about $500 in the days when I wasn't as choosy and got dances from several dancers or with a dancer I was dating at the time. These days as I travel (Florida is but a dream now) I spend a lot less as I sample the clubs around the country.
In my younger days, I didn't have a lot of money. So I learned about value early. Now that I have money, I still shop for value.I always take more that I expect to spend(minimum $300)to cover unexpected treasures. I am gonna guess at $400 being the most I have spent in one sitting.
I have never spent more than about $250 at any one time. Can't seem to save up more than that because the itch comes back.

The most I've spent is about $800, and that included drinks for myself and a bunch of dancers, lap dances with various girls, and extras. But I usually spend $500 whenever I go to one of my favorite clubs, which isn't too bad unless I go 2 or 3 times in a week (like I did last week).
I think I've blown as much as $400 a couple of times. Alcohol was involved! With LD prices having jumped so much in central Ohio, its hard to want to spend more. A couple of dances fo 60-70 is pretty goddamn ridiculous! Now, if I were in a place that had 10-20 dollar dances I might spend more since the fun would seem so much cheaper.
Anytime I spend more than $200, alcohol is involved. At one club I will spend at most $300 but the most I've spent was $700 one night but that involved three different clubs. All I can say some days I wake up thinking "that was not worth it" and others "damn, that was worth it"
The most i've spent in one trip is $500 exactly, withdrew my max from the ATM and told myself I wouldn't leave until it was all gone, had a great time but not something I've done or see myself doing.. I'm fine with $150-300 per visit
I do go very often though.. to me it just seems like i would rather have three good visits spending around $200+ than blowing 5 or 6 hundred in one visit
About $500. It was with a really hot fave in the champagne room at OG in Vegas years ago. $100 bar tab. 3 for $100 dances. I believe I did 4 sets over a roughly 4 hr period. Worth every penny.
I usually take in about $1K just in case something phenomenal happens. But I usually end of spending in the $600-$800 range all said and done. It's a happy dancer that can principally extract all of that from me on one visit, I usually spread the wealth around a bit.

I'm a younger dude, don't have that much money to spend. I only go about once every 2 months. Sometimes not that often. And believe it or not, even with the little amount of money I have to spend, I still have a great time. When I go, I only stay about 2 hours. So, if I can get 3 lap dance's and some alcohol (plus entry fee) in me for $100 bucks, I'm happy. I do have a birthday coming up on the 27th though, and I'm planning to splurge. :)

From what I have read on this site, there are club's where you can get the same thing for $70-$80. And best of all, with latina's, which are my (personal) favorite and I find to be EXTREMELY attractive.
@GoViking - I assume you're referring to places in TJ, Mexico. Indeed, it's quite cheap there. Within the US, there are certainly some places where you can have sex ITC for a few hundred, though in a major market like NYC Id say that is near impossible.
I personally think it is ridiculous but there are even clubs that do fine selling $1600 per hour private rooms, where there is certainly no sex either (*maybe* a BJ at the absolute most).
Here in Columbus they charge the highest price for a private room. $350/30 minutes. Surprisingly they stay busy back in the VIP. I don't mind, their drunk dumb asses help subsidize the free buffet that the club provides on the weekends.
^^^I meant to say, here in Columbus, Columbus Gold is the club that charges $350/30 minutes. Not all the clubs charge that much. Kahoots has a special VIP room for bachelor parties that cost $350/30 minutes but for a single guy/dancer it is $250/30 minutes in a normal room.
GoVikings, I am sure there are parts of the country where $60-70 is the price for ITC sex but when you factor in the time/cost of traveling and the time missed with work sometimes it is just better off paying the higher price for something nearby. Of course $800 though is a little too high so I am glad I did not go for it.

I did not think that was possible in the upper Midwest(Wisconsin/Minnesota/Iowa/North South Dakota). I have taken 6+ hours to spend $1,500 at a Minneapolis club with multiple VIP visits. I just can't image what they could have done to you to get that money. You certainly made their night.
