The Lap Dance Unit (LDU)

steve229
I hit my favorite men's clothing store early to check out their after Christmas sale. Couldn't help wondering if some dancers would be offering after Christmas sales as well.

I noticed that as I priced items, I was automatically translating the cost into the equivalent number of lap dances. So, if my average lap dance cost is $20, which I've nicknamed the "Lap Dance Unit" (LDU), a $100 purchase translates into 5 LDUs.

Anyone else ever find themselves doing this?

I don't directly convert the item value into LDUs, but I do the quite opposite; when I go to clubs to get LDs, I think of how much shopping I could do instead of paying for the LDs.
During the SC visits, for some reason I lose the sense of cash value in my mind because I simply want to have a good time. However, "after" is where I hate myself.
For example, after a typical $100VIP, I think of how much good shopping I can do and/or how many 5dollar footlongs subs I could get.
Don't get me wrong, but I still prefer money-use on shopping rather than LDs.
Anyone else ever find themselves doing this (or steve's)?

No, to both of the scenarios presented. I set aside club/hotel money every week. When it's gone, I'm done. I don't think of what else it might buy, because if that "else" is more important, I would have bought it instead of setting the money aside.

robbing1, what you posted, is EXACTLY what I do. So you aren't alone.

I'm not cheap, but I'm very careful with my money because I don't make that much.

The funny thing is in my first 2 visits to this strip club all I got was one $20.00 dance each time I went there. But then one day this gorgeous dancer that I had received dancers from in the past convinced me to get a $60.00 contact lap dance with her.

I NEVER thought I'd spend $60.00 (that's a lot of money for me) for a lap dance that only lasts 7 minutes or so, but when you're there in the strip club and the pretty girl is right there in your presence wearing hardly nothing, it's very difficult to say no lol.

I often make the comparison, especially after a bad casino visit. I often tell my close friend ( a female) that "I could have had three VIP sessions with my favorite dancer for what I just lost". Never really thought about what the dance money could buy in the real world. Since casinos and strippers come from the "non essential" money the comparison seems relevant to me.

Twenty years ago, back when clubs were mostly non-contact, and dances occurred at, or on, your table, we called them 'TDUs' (Table-Dance Units).

I find myself doing the LDU thing constantly - at the dry cleaners, grocery store, even at the vet ("damn - his doggy vitamins & rabies shot coulda gotten me at least 4 dances!").

I'm too far gone at this point. Save yourselves!

Transitioned from the LDU to the BRP a little while back. (BRP = Bulk Rate Pricing.)

Lol about the LDU,I find myself doing the same thing. And to those who make the opposite conversion, I never regret my club purchases, so why bother to translate them into something else?

My units are different again. When adding up my expenditures I convert to bbls of oil or gigajoules of nat gas. Hmmm...a BBBJ can be as much as 3 bbl of Alberta Heavy. Never seems to stop me enjoying myself, however.

Nope! I just pay the fee and enjoy myself.

I have no regrets about dollars spent at SCs but I have noticed my wallet growing fatter since I haven't been able to sneak away to a club in months!

Prim0, that just means you'll have more to spend the next time you *do* go. :))

I just bought a 6lb boneless prime rib roast for New Years dinner. Cost me $75.0. That is 7 & 1/2 lap dances at my favorite club. It better taste good.
