Day Jobs

Known any dancers with interesting/unusual day jobs?

Tonight I met what has to be one of the few Stripper Pilots around. I was initially skeptical, but this girl blew me away with her technical knowledge. Turns out it was her last night dancing, she was moving to take a co-pilot job with a regional airline. So if they ever announce “Your pilot today is Brittany,” I'll be able to say I got a lap dance from the pilot!

I think some strippers bullshit about their dayjobs to make themselves feel better or smart. I met one stripper tonight who claims to work as an accountant. When I asked her where she went to college she claimed she did not need to go to school because she had connections in the company. I am not in the field but I believe you need a college degree for that and she must have either forged one or does not know what she is talking about.

Another dancer I know claimed she owned her own web design company.

I did meet one dancer during her day job of working at starbucks.

Many of you have met gridget. She rarely dances anymore except for me. She has become an intermediate EMT. Working to becoming a full paramedic.I know that this is not SS. I have seen her in action twice. She has become my adopted daughter. We talk on the phone frequently.

Re dancer turning pilot. I am retired from the largest Air Line in the world after working for them in flight operations for 42 years. A copilot for a regional air line does not make shit. She may go back to stripping. I know one TUSCLer that spent $93K to send his son through flight school. He is now a Capt flying RJs but makes less than my retirement pay. I know another TUSCLer that is a B767 Capt. for an all cargo air line. It is difficult to break into the majors without a lot of experience(military).

I know one that has tenure at USC/Carolina. She still dances occasionally. Says that she misses it but I think the money helps.

I admire the ones that quit and take up responsible jobs. Others will always be losers.

1) PhD candidate in biochemistry (confirmed)
2) Golf course cart girl
3) Accountant

That's about all the ones I can think of that actually had a day job. The great majority seemed to sleep through the day.

I've met 2 nurse/nursing assistants, 1 massage therapist, 1 nail salon whatever the title is and a few have done small PR work or model.
One chick who used to strip around these parts is actually a lead singer in a local band. In fact, she helped out with another band that is fairly well known in the alternative world.

A few more I remembered:

- Photographer
- Journalist (Indiana U grad)
- Pharmaceutical rep
- Real estate agent

A dancer once told me there were a couple schoolteachers moonlighting at her club, but I never met them. I wonder how that would have gone (“Oh, hi, didn’t I meet you at back to school night?)

Dancers have career BS just like customers have phony business cards / career hype. I have had them tell me they are in law school when in reality they are still working on their AA degree at a community college.

I have only known four with a legit day job. One is a photographer in one of the small towns in NW Missouri (I didn't believe it but I got on google and she's there with her picture), one is a commercial real estate agent, one works at a convenience store, and the last works at the Buffalo Wild Wings nearest my home. That was one person I didn't want to explain how I knew her to my parents the day I saw her. I have supposedly met a teacher, but while she looks like she could be one (at least by the glasses she wears), I don't really believe it.

I forgot one, who works in hospital administration, although she is basically retired at this point from stripping, but she does do it every few months for fun.

samsung's gal might've been BS'ing, but I know of a family where the oldest gal graduated cum laude with an accounting degree and her company (Price Waterhouse Coopers-no slouch of a firm)was so impressed with her that they hired her sister right out of high school.

Of strippers with great day jobs, only knew one. She had an engineering degree and worked for Brown and Root. She stripped one night a week just for fun.

Does "fluffer" count as a day job?

Fluffer counts only if it's her stage name.

GatorFan: What a GREAT stage name! I occasionally get asked for stage name advice, because, contrary to popular belief, I actually talk to the girls and hold real conversations before I take advantage of our disparate economic situations, and now you have given me the perfect suggestion. Thank-you.

never met to many that said they actually had other jobs.... I have met many that say that they were starting or in nursing school. Having witnessed a State Board of Nursing meeting where the 'board' denied a recent graduate permission to sit for a license exam because she was a stripper and that was not the image that the state wanted to "send". I don't know if she won on appeal, but this is no joke. If you are nursing school or are a practicing nurse look at the state practice act, you can be denied a license in some states

I think being a pilot would be a good career for a strip club enthusiast. You get to fly all around the country or world and have a chance to visit strip clubs and the women. I would probably get fired from it though for screwing the stewardesses.

I've met many dancers who had other jobs. Real estate agent, dental hygenist, massage therapist (in training), and some training to be veterinarians for animals. One hot dancer went from dancing nude, to doing some photo shoots for Penthouse or some other major magazine, to dancing again at various clubs, then a job at Hooters, then ended up as a bartender at the same club she used to dance nude in just 2 or 3 years earlier. She showed me her books she was studying when it wasn't busy. I don't remember all the other occupations dancers told me they were doing. One was an artist and drew paintings. I don't imagine that will pay well. I believe one club I visit seems to have a lot of dancers who moonlight from other occupations. If a dancer tells me her real occupation and it's not related to dancing, it does make an impression especially if she knows things to back it up.

I remember one quite intelligent dancer I met one night told me she graduated from college and mentioned a decent major but didn't see the point in working a regular job when she could easily make so much more dancing. She said later on, she would pursue what she majored in after accumulating some significant cash from dancing. I have to say that she was very unusual because I didn't remember ever meeting dancers who already graduated from college with a decent major that she could work in. This was years ago when strip clubs were making better money.

I know one who works as a paralegal. She is in law school in addition to being a dancer.

Of the 20 or so gals I have seen otc the last 5 years, her HJ foreplay and doing me on top is out of this world. She can go a long time and does not rush you. It is a true GFE with her whether itc or otc.

I've met at lot of dancers with other jobs. Met a lot with degrees, too. I just met a dancer over the weekend who has a graduate degree in Art History. Just started up dancing again because non-profits are taking it in the shorts with the economy. Do I have definitive proof? No, but you can sit and talk with someone and get a general idea of what's between the ears. Great personality. Vicious wit. Perfect 10 to boot.

Would've hung out with her for a while if I didn't have a plane to catch.

A lot of dancers are too drugged out to hold a day job. Many of them are HS dropouts who got impregnated by some sleazebo drug bum. Others are unable to find a day job bc of their extensive arrest records. Of the ones I have known well and hooked up with that I did a background check on, it was not uncommon to find they had a rap sheet for things like prostitution and theft.
