Out of town and out of luck

I've gone to a regular bar if it's a fun town, like Chicago or New York, or if others suggest it. If I'm on my own in a hick town with just a Hooters, I'd stay in my room and read a book. If Dick Johnson were there, I'd go but I'd tell everybody I didn't know him.

When I traveled alone, I would never eat out alone. If I when out it was either a SC or a regular bar for some porting event.

I mite try regular bar.

I am only as faithful as my options...if there are no titty bars around then I don't think about going out. Try to bring your lap top out of town with you and load it up with porn. Or get a room with internet and surf for porn.

If you don't have a lap top then go out and buy some porn magazines. The articles in them can be quite entertaining.

Phone sex is another option but it's rather expensive and not for every one.

I don't go anywhere strictly for business, but if I did, it would depend on my lodging situation. If the hotel/motel I was at had a bar, or if one was within walking distance, I'd probably be there. I might even go to Hooters if there was one (IMHO, their food is underrated). Of course, within my experience, whenever I've been away from home, I've only been somewhere where there is exactly one titty bar once. That was in Ottumwa, Iowa and while it doesn't seem like a bad bar, as a titty bar, it leaves something to be desired, kinda like the town, actually.

No strip club, but you have 200-300 to throw around, and in a hick town-here's something that's worked for me. Dress like you're trying to score at a titty bar (dress for success), then look around for a diner with not much going on and a somewhat attractive waitress. The way you're dressed will draw some kind of response.

Since you're just testing the waters (and might find another diner) start with just an appetizer. If a conversation starts, you can go with a full dinner, if not, you get the idea.

Anyway, in a hick town, some young waitresses will gladly ditch their local boring boyfriend for an evening/night out with a well dressed interesting out of town guy. Steer the conversation the right way and she might do a lapper for you-who knows?

Anyway, worked for me once. It didn't lead to sex, but it did lead to almost five hours of companionship.

I would do the same thing I did before we had strip clubs. Go to a regular bar in hopes of scoring. It was 99 and 44/100 fruitless.

First I would look for a Casino. If not, then a massage parlor. If neither, I would as the bellman at the hotel where to find a good time. If there is no bellman, then look for a local weekly paper and check the ads there.

If all else fails, buy a bottle of scotch and read a book.

These days, read a book, or browse the discussion threads on TUSCL and offer useless advice.

How about another option, like driving 3 hours to get to a club? I've done this a few times, but only for a known, better than average experience. Was it worth it? No. Was it fun? Yes.
