Twerking's my brother from another mother....I approach it the same. I generally pay every 2 songs, so count doesn't get out of control. At the minimum, I will say "that's 2....right?", and she will confirm. In reality, EI, despite its grimy appearance, is less scammy than many other places. If they start shit with you, tell Miss Margaret if it's nighttime, and she will put the girl out on her ass.

All fair points, twerking. Has the building EVER been in good shape, though, in the last decade? I only recently discovered the club, so I don't know. I agree that there has been a dry period lately, but on a recent weeknight, there were tons of guys and girls. They seem to have gotten some new talent (many of which are younger than recent months). But, I don't know what the girls were like pre-Covid. I have been hearing girls talk about dancing at Lust and Norma Jeans on The Block, so an exodus has certainly been occurring. But, the club is generally hit or miss. Probably like other clubs, they are past thei peak of the good 'ole days. The $14 drinks don't help slow down the exodus. I wish they would use some of the excessive drink fees to at least remodel the restrooms, though, so we don't need to wade through toilet mess. All that said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if someday the place gets grazed and turned into apartments.

Sweet spot for La Pearl is 5:30-7:30pm. It's generally open 7 days...although may be a mix of only one or the other (upstairs vs downstairs) on certain days. Before that, you may see some early risers at 4-4:30, then they begin to trickle out from 7:30-8:30, after which you will be sent away.

Call your bank and get your atm limit raised when you know you're going to a club. It's on you if you choose to use a credit card in club.

Great points. While we may be deviants, we still maintain some level of situational awareness. The point about establishing rate and performance expectations is critical. It's a bit touchy, though, as engaging in such communication could be incriminating, so you need to read the situation to only bring it up when you have comfort it's not a setup.

I wonder how they link room/drink purchases to ID. Choose from photos when room is used, or drinks are purchased? I'm not at all surprised that it happens...just curious about the logistics. And, I wouldn't be surprised if it also happened at Platinum Plus or any other club that scans IDs. I wonder what else they include in records.

It's relative....Players Club was very divey, whereas McDoogals is less divey. Rick - Didn't say McD was good...but merely alternative to Players with respect to layout (ie traditional strip club vs bar setup). The 3 song rotation is typical.

Not sure why you want to dance at a club that has such high camera monitoring. Find another club. Besides, if a girl is making money for a club, they really don't gaf what the girl does in VIP.

Where does interior and general vibe fall in comparison to 7th Heaven, Mustang Sally's, and Pleasure Dome?

An opening time prior to 9pm would certainly help with attendance. 6pm ideally, but even 7 is better than 9. There isn't much population within a short drive of this place. So, outside of Poconos tourist season, not many are jamming the roads to go there.

In which lot was the break in? Church, or to side of the club? I disagree that nothing has changed in 10 years; there is more mold and damaged ceiling tiles. Yet....it remains among my favorite clubs.
