Missed Passion, Found Nice Alternative

For those unaware, LaPearl and Outer Space Club are kind of co-clubs in an economically disadvantaged area of West Philly. It's hard to find them on Google Maps by name, but just search for 54th and Haverford Aves and you are basically there. LaPearl is on the first floor and is a small neighborhood bar where dancers circulate. OSC is a bit more like a traditional strip club on the second floor. I have been going for years and still don't really understand the hours - some days one is open, some the other, sometimes both. Parking is street parking, usually within a few hundred feet of the door, around the corner, whatever. I drive a nice car and I never had any issues with crime or my car. I also usually only go during daylight hours. Things don't usually get rolling here until 5:00, and as the dancers trickle in wearing their civilian clothes, they need time to change into their work outfits. There are a variety of body types represented by the staff - short, tall (6'1" is my record so far), BBW, sickly thin, everywhere in between. The dancers are all Black women. There is a $10 cover due to the owner sitting on the porch outside. Drinks are very cheap and served in a plastic cup.

A few weeks ago, I visited LaPearl and had a pleasant conversation with a super hot spinner named Passion. The customary barside dance price is $5 here, which is a screaming bargain, however, prices and expectations have crept up, so I would assume $10 unless a different arrangement is discussed ahead of time. Generally, the more barside action/the hotter the dancer, the more I expect to pay $10 per song (which I'll just consider $5 plus a $5 tip). There is a pay-as-you-go jukebox that sometimes customers will fund and sometimes dancers will fund for $1 per song. In the weeks-ago situation, I got eight barside dances for $10 each and a phone number for her. It was a bit of a tame experience for LaPearl, but she was nice to talk to and very cute, so I was open to visting her again. Passion usually works Thursday through Monday.

Last week, I went to LaPearl after Passion and I were texting and she let me know she would be working on a Tuesday, and I went into the club and didn’t see her. I parked at the bar and a 6’1” lean African princess with natural B cups, flat stomach, and soft ass offered me a barside dance. I got two songs with her then Passion came by, but I was already engaged. Passion gave me a kiss on the cheek and I told her I would be back in a few minutes. In retrospect, I guess that was a lie.
