7 levels of clubbingGood topic!
Was a 1 for the 1st visit or 2. Then a 2-3 for years as only went with friends & we only went for the experience. Although I had the LDK experience back then without knowing it was called a LDK - just thought I had lucked out. Didnt know how to figure out how to get the right dancers. And never went often enough to learn.
Then progressed to 4 this year and now to 5 - with assistance from this site - with sights on 6 thanks to promising visit recently.

Stripper Poll #1What Muddy said (and well said):
I just don't want a jungle down there. I just don't want to be picking long pubic hairs out of my teeth. Neat and tidy hair is fine. Shaved is cool too.

The Downside of Becoming Friends with a Stripper"I want to make something absolutely clear here. I am not romanticizing the relationship, or fantasizing about a relationship, or crave an emotional connection with the Lady. I am fully aware that it is their job to make their customers feel at ease through small talk. And I am under no illusion that under other circumstances, and in other surroundings, we probably would not be having a conversation.
The point of my article is that with this particular lady, I had gone past the point of engaging in my usual small talk with dancers. I enjoyed her intelligence, wit, company, and her grinding skills. But, i'm looking to balance the physical and the Intellectual/emotional aspects."
Totally get & understand that - and appreciate you sharing this article.
Also some food for thought - While obviously and does not need to be said - the stripper sees you as a customer first & foremost - do not forget that it can work both ways. IE the stripper can possibly see you as a friend as well if you keep coming back & are having lots of conversations - thats just human nature. They may have relaxed their guard. I am not saying they would want a OTC - just that ITC they see you more than just a customer. That can at least lead to better perks than if you're just a ATM that they may not normally do.

Closing soon (apparently)"This was always a good club though, with a reliable supply of hot strippers who wouldn’t work at the seedier places. It was always safe, and i have many memories from there."
I could not have said it any better. Was pretty sad when I learned it had closed (found out from a dancer at a different club).

I don't think so ROB HO!!I know this is a few years later but I can vouch that a lot of the women from the Montreal scene work Ottawa - they tend to bounce back and forth 1 weekend Ottawa, 1 weekend Montreal - so I would not be surprised if what Papi_Chulo said was the truth.

Brief Belated Review of PigalesAppreciate the feedback. I will endeavour to make future reviews more detail orientated. It takes a bit of practice (and memory refreshing) to get into more expansive reviews but it is not my intent to waste your time with the review. I honestly do not think Pigales is a great club but do think that if you're looking for a club in the Ottawa area with lots of action it is still worth a visit.

How to turn down an extremely aggressive dancer pushing for an overly priced ChaPractice saying no to yourself in the mirror. The more you visualize it the easier it will happen. Sorry that your experience was a disappointing one.
