Bitch, Don’t kill my vibe
I don’t think I’ll outgrow, but I may have to stop at some point. I like cheap clubs, if the price keeps going up it will price me out. I don’t get out as much and don’t have nearly as good of time as I used to. Partly because I’m not a regular anymore and partly the dancer’s behavior has changed. Lastly if I move to an area that my type of club (urban, cheap, grimey) is not easily accessible then I’m out the game, part of my decrease in getting out is I moved farther from the city.

I had the same experience with i think the same dancer. I was a mood breaker and took up dance time.

I’ve been racking these (speeding) up a lot lately in various places. Normally the fine is small, I think to convince you to just pay it. I am a fan of these especially in cities. It makes you rethink your driving. As someone who normally drives as fast as I feel comfortable and safe, now when I drive in NYC, where I’ve gotten most of these, I will drive within the speed limit. I feel like a turtle at sometimes, but it’s safer for all involved.

As many times as I’ve danced with her I don’t recall her name, or if I ever knew it. She’s tall, even w/o the heels, and dark skinned, not quite thick but definitely not skinny. Not sure if that helps. Didn’t think I was too explicit as I didn’t give names

It’s been years since I’ve been there, but I vaguely recall the the private area fee was once a night for males and females. So if you chose a girl with a wristband you only had to pay your fee, or could always have the girl per her own fee since it was an investment

@runswitrice I somewhat agree with you. When you consider the dance cost and the level of dance, $1 for the music (which means you don’t get songs cutoff) is not something to complain about. In someways the problem is ours. I have a long drive as well, and it’s not worth the logistics of driving, not to mention clothes changes, for hit or miss. Especially since the miss frequency is outweighing the potential benefits. Add to that that there are few similar options (cost, time of day, type of dance) so you’re driving in the hopes of that one place. Many moons ago you had other options (Rum Keg) perhaps a bit later in the night. Now you have Purple Orchid (too high for me and I don’t like the dance structure), or Piccadilly (not consistently as grimey) or drive back home with untouched balls

Why would you fire someone based on a site post? Next thing you know I post an extras review on a girl I didn’t like.

I’ve never parked on Pearl st, always on 54th. You’re review is confusing the pool table and no stage are downstairs and the stage is upstairs, unless they’ve redone things. And you can definitely get FS under 200. I would say 120 max. But the talent does seem to be way down. I think the days of the $5 dance with a reasonable size, face, age dancer are over

#15 should read - Even though you may stick out like a sore thumb, the only color that matters is green. We need to stop ignoring that minorities may not feel comfortable/ welcome in predominantly white clubs.

Detroit strip clubs
I think Paul Drake got closest to the issue. It’s the lost of their preferred clientele which is white males. And not due to the reduction of white dancers for black dancers but due to the increase in black clientele. They fear that black dancers/music attract black clientele and too many black clientele mean less white clientele and eventually little to no white clientele. White flight is not just a real estate thing. It’s not something the free market for dancers can address.

They used to do a membership many moons ago. You would just sign a book with whatever you wanted to sign. So you signed up a paid a membership every visit. I think it got them around a law, I believe at that time they were then able to stay open past 2am. Haven’t had to sign a book in quite a while

I think this club is closed now and I can’t recall the name. It was one of two black clubs in Tampa, not Hollywood Nites but the other one. I’m from out of town and had done some research, but when I would ask the Hollywood Nites girls about the other club they would stab wounds and bullet holes. I visited twice and got a strong gang activity vibe. Nothing jumped off while I was there. Years later a saw an article about a fight and shooting outside.
There was also Club 88 outside of Trenton, NJ. Another club with a strong gang vibe. Same story, nothing ever jumped off while I was there but articles re shootings.
OuterSpace is not bad, neighborhood looks rundown but nowhere near the worse in Philly. It actually has the perfect amount of street traffic. Most of it is from the club. Too little and I get antsy, too much and you worry about south popping off.
